How to sell HIGH-TICKET offers?

Hi everyone, it's been a while in these corners and I want to give back a bit.
-
First, this is about HIGH-TICKET SELLING. The first time I started selling high ticket offers was here on the warrior forum about 6 years ago. I sold my first high ticket offer at $3,000. From there I went up to sell even higher ticket services. The second biggest high ticket sale I made then was for $9,000. And the third highest priced offer I sold was for $15,000.
-
Needless to say that the $15,000 sale didn't pan out well. This was because I couldn't deliver on my promise and it was HARD! The sale was for a consulting service where I promised to help the guy build a marketing system that will help him get to at least $10K per month in the first 90 days, selling his ecom store creation service.
-
Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those guys out there who promise the world, just because they want to take your money and run. When I made the promise, I had the frameworks and the process to get him there.
-
The problem was that I didn't know that it will take him much longer to get to get him to this goal. To cut a long story short, I gave him a refund, and also gave him $1500 on top of it as a compensation for wasting his time - with lots of apologies to boot.
-
I felt devastated. I couldn't sleep well at night. Not because I lost the money, but because someone just LOST FAITH in me...and to me, that's the worst feeling in the world - disappointing someone.
-
I kept sending this guy resources and guidance even after the refund and stuff, just to help him make that dream a reality. Because when this man came to me, I gave him lots of hope before he could sign up to my $15,000 consulting service.
-
Needless to say that months later, he made his first $10,000 building out ecom stores for people - using the SAME system I built for him. From there he hired a team and went on to build a multiple 6-figure business. Because of my determination to help this guy succeed at ALL COST, till date, he emails me occasionally to say thank you.

Why I told you this story is because whatever challenge you're facing right now selling high ticket offers, I've seen it all in the last 5 years. And I've worked with other people to help them over come this same challenge.

So my question for you today is: what's your BIGGEST challenge or problem selling high ticket offers?

Here are some possible reasons:

1. You're afraid no one will pay you a premium price between $3,000 - $15,000 or more. If this is you, trust me, if you can help people solve a MAJOR life or business problem, you can command premium prices for this. Take for instance you can help someone going through divorce to recover. Or you can help an obese person lose all that pounds. Or you can help someone become healthier as a nutritionist. Or you can help someone whose business is struggling to recover, or you can help someone create a website, or setup Facebook ads, or graphic designs... etc etc. You get the idea. Coaches, this is you. Consultants, and other service professionals, this is you. But if you help people learn how to play the piano for instance, I'm not sure you can charge premium prices for this type of service.

2. You think you're not good enough to charge premium prices in the $3,000 - $15,000 range. If this you, then I want to tell you something: If you have the knowledge to really help someone achieve a transformation in their lives, then the next thing you need is set up a system to deliver this transformation. That's all you really need to start charging premium prices.

3. You think charging premium prices will hurt your clients. That's a myth. Actually, when you charge premium prices, it helps your clients in so MANY WAY. I will go into more details on this in my next post.

4. Some other reason or fear you may have in your head right now.

What's your biggest challenge with selling high ticket offers? Tell me in a comment below and I will do my best to help you.

  • Only on the Internet can some expect to pay $15,000 for a $120,000+ return multiple years...

So my question is...WHY bother doing this for others when you could have simply created a few of these businesses yours-elf?
In the real world a 15% ROI would be good...you gave him 10,000%+ return but still gave a full refund and more....Sure.
This also leads to people expecting too much. IF XX can guarantee me $10,000 per month for $15,000 why should i buy a real business for $50,0000 that can only deliver $5,000 per month? It's not real it's Internet Business 101 = B*S*

I sense a self promotion here...you'll get people asking "wow...you can do this..here's my $15k"

Seen it a 1,000 times here...

$15,000 is NOT high ticket by the way.....

Because there's so much opportunity out there than one man, or even a thousand men can handle.
