Who are the best copywriters in the Internet Marketing niche?

I am trying to track down the copywriters of some of the more popular products on Clickbank in the internet marketing niche. For instance those selling affiliate marketing techniques such as products like Clickbank Pirate, Google Sniper system, etc.

I realize these writers are probably backlogged for months but can someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks!

Try David Garfinkel, Craig Peregrine, Brian Keith Voiles, Michel Fortin, John Carlton, Gary Halbert's letters.

I hope you got the spare change to pay these guys. Good luck in getting an appointment before 2015. Alternatively you can always knock on my door and I can give you hot, sexy and kick butt copy.

    Cheers

It's funny how the reading mind works...when I first read her post, my mind somehow skipped "and kick"...sneaky copy, too!

I'll second John Carlton and Gary Halbert, check Gary's free website, gary halbert letters or something like that (read the one about selling water, amazing)

Also, Frank Kern is a great copy writer, and Jeff Walker.

Well, Gary Halbert is dead... just felt the need to mention this. So, that leaves John Carlton And Michel Fortin.

Haha, Yeah, I know he's dead, hence why all the stuff is free on his site now, but the stuff he shows is timeless and will still be relevant in 100 years....although, I'll be dead then as well! :p

Kevin Rogers is another one I'd look at. He has a free report with a behind-the-scenes look at a sales letter he wrote for a #1 selling CB product. And I believe he has junior writers he works with as well.

All the copywriters mentioned are masters of the art but do you really think John Carlton etc. are behind letters like Clickbank Pirate?

Speak to Vin Montello, he practically invented the style of IM letter you're after.

frank and jeff aren't copywriters... but they write their own stuff...

and i'm pretty sure you aren't getting halbert to write for you.... if you could do that, I'd be *seriously* impressed.

carlton is VERY expensive.... doubt you can afford him, plus he's not writing a lot from what i hear for new clients

check out vin montello (spellin? sorry vin) i know he's written some of the top CB offers...

If your on a budget then instead of going with Vin maybe get some of his students, who charge quite a bit less, to write for you.

P.S - There is a Copywriting forum here - you may want to go and creep around.

"Best" is subjective. High conversion rates also depend on the product, price point, and how well targeted the traffic to the site being sent to the site is. There are plenty of well-written sales letters that don't convert well b/c of those 3 big factors.

I don't recommend looking strictly at Clickbank for successful IM sellers either.

There are a number of online marketers who don't want to pay Clickbank's healthy fees... slow payments (vs. PayPal or a merchant c.c. account)... and willingness to dish out refunds for any old reason.

With the use of JVs and your own mailing list, you may not *need* Clickbank. By my estimate, 90% of the guru launches don't use Clickbank. They use something like 1Shopping Cart or InfusionSoft and use JV partners, their own email lists & affiliates to drive targeted traffic to their new product.

    re: who wrote the salesletters.

Easiest way to find out is to contact the product owner and ask him who wrote his sales copy. As long as you are looking to hire their copywriter for a non-competing product, most will be happy to tell you who it was.

In the case of Google Sniper, it was David Raybould who is a WF member. Don't know who wrote CB Pirate, so I can't help you there.

If I recommending other active established copywriters besides myself that writes smoking good copy in the IM niche, I'd start with Ray L. Edwards, Vin Montello, and Kevin Rogers.

If you have the right product, a proven track record as a marketer, and stack enough money on the table you might convince Michel Fortin, John Hostler, or Bruce Wedding to come out of "retirement" and take your project.

Of course, you're talking $5K and up for any of these copywriters and waiting to get on their scheudule. If that's out of your budget, then you should look at one of the threads in the threads where a number of "up and coming" copywriters who currently charge under $5K are recommended.

    Best of luck,

    Mike

Just wanted to chime in here
for a second - yup, Google
    Sniper is mine...

    Don't know who wrote
    Clickbank Pirate, but I can
tell you that it's an almost
word for word swipe of my
    Clickbank Code letter. Some
of it IS word for word.

    Flattering, but I'd hate to
    see some sneaky swiper
getting work on the back of
    copy he didn't even write.

Just wanted to get that out
    there in the open.

    Thanks

Be honored David. John Carlton crowns himself as the most
ripped off copywriter alive. To be 'swiped' is to be affirmed
      sometimes.

I've seen myself in a few 'top gun' copywriters and I just
smile to myself. In fact, one that charges more than me
swiped my entire letter when he first started out.

If you're good people will copy you.
