Anyone Using RAP and Alternate Payment Link without Siphoning Sales from Affiliates?

I want to use Rapid Action Profits, but realize I may lose a certain number of sales since they only take paypal.

Anyone tried putting a link under the order button that says something like "If above link does not work, use this alternate payment processor."

I want to increase my sales, but not have people clicking their who would use paypal anyways.

    Hi,

You may not lose sales, but I doubt affiliates will be too happy with this. They wouldn't get paid through RAP for the alternative.

    Thanks,

I think Justin's response is right on the money.

There is no need for a customer to have a Paypal account (any more than they are required to have, say, an Authorize.net account if you chose that as your "alternative method").

How do you "realize" that you may lose a certain number of sales if you only accept Paypal? I think you've been reading (believing) too much IM crap. I, myself, carry a Paypal ATM card, but I realize full well that the customers on my golf products site probably don't. Nor do they even have a Paypal account.

I still use Paypal to process all of the credit card payments I receive from that site. Works just fine. Now if I can just find a way to send monographed golf balls as an electronic download...
