How can i connect with agency founders online without spamming?

Hey guys,

I would really appreciate your help/advice.

I have been struggling to connect with agencies online so they can whitelabel my WordPress maintenance service to their clients.

I have tried cold emailing agencies but no reply. no response... It's just as if I messaged nobody.

I am trying to build trust but seems cold emailing doesn't seem to work.

What should I do connect and build trust with agency owners/executives without spamming them?

Thanks

Yeah, you're trying to do too many steps in one. That's not how sales works.

And you are trying to make a sale, don't doubt it.

You have what I call The Danger of the Two Sales here.

The first sale is: Is this a good idea? Is there a problem we need solved?

The second sale is: Are YOU the right person to solve it?

And you have been trying to bypass the first sale, without knowing it was there, and going straight to the second sale.

Of course agency owners are ignoring you.

They have their own priorities already. Stuff they have chosen to focus on. You are a distraction, at the moment. Why should they take on yet another service? Why do they need to do that? Think of the hassle! * Delete. *

You can still probably make email work.

The method is to break the process up into steps, remembering this is a SALES PROCESS.

You are unlikely to "build trust" in a single email, or by hammering them with several containing the same kind of message.

Trying to combine Traffic and Conversion into a single step is a common newbie error.

Your first step is to find out WHO IS OPEN TO TALKING.

    That's qualifying your prospect.

Your second step will be to TALK TO THOSE OPEN TO SPEAKING WITH YOU.

    * Then * you can sell them on how great your service is, and why they should add it to their repertoire.

So, Email #1: I'm looking for agency owners or marketing directors who want to add to their MRR without taking on the need for their people to learn more technical expertise or spend time doing additional tasks for clients.

Those who answer will share your point of view. The first sale is made and the danger is bypassed. They are open to speaking about increasing their monthly revenue, and eager to find out how they can do this without making their staff do more stuff.

NOW you can go make the second sale, that you have this maintenance software that can be baked into what they're already doing, doesn't eat up any more of their resources, etc. etc. to help them earn more revenue every month.

Email can also take a lot of numbers to make it work. There is a quality factor, but if you sent 25 emails as an example I doubt you would have given yourself much of a chance for responses.

Inbound/content marketing for the long-term and have you considered PPC for the short term?

I second LinkedIn. LinkedIn has become a great resource for me. Their social selling program is well worth the money.
The simple process here is to get to know them, build trust, find the ones who are open to your product/service, then reach out to them via emails/messages etc.,

A few agency owner's I have talked to generally have something like your service available. With that in mind, what is your price point? What service's do you offer and do you have a guarantee?
The main concern I have with looking at service's is,

"If my clients are not happy with the service, Is there a way I can make it better manually while waiting for the provider to fix it on their end?"
I do think it was a good Idea to ask in warriorforum as well.

    Regards.

am I good enough to attract them or should I just offer another service...what do you think?

Think of ways that you can offer them some value .If you want something from them you have to demonstrate how you can offer them value in exchange for their time

I'm the 3rd guy with the suggestion to use LinkedIn.

    1) Create an account (FREE).

    2) Add connections you know.

    3) Start posting to build authority.

    4) Connect with a second degree connection of the main guy you want to get in touch with.

    5) Build a relationship with them through LinkedIn messages.

    6) Ask them to introduce you to the main guy you want to know.

    I'm a LinkedIn advocate, it's 100% awesome!

    Hi Darlington,

"so they can whitelabel my WordPress maintenance service to their clients.."

yep, remove that intent buddy. Replace with helping these founders in as many ways as possible. Expect nothing. Ask for nothing. Earn their trust. Build a relationship. Then, you can position yourself to ask a good friend and trusted bond a question, or, to make a request.

That would be downright unChristian: "Ask and it will be given to you"

That's from the Bible, the Jesussy part of it, cross my heart. So, yeah, unchristian.

It sounds like you need to take advantage of a good email marketing course, along with joining sites like linked in. Effective email marketing is learned like everything else.

Reverse engineer their following list on Twitter

Usually, agency decision makers who promote on Twitter link up with other agency heads

    Start there

I would suggest that you offer a few of them some free service. If your work is superb, you can count on their word of mouth. It will help you get their clients.
