Help me to find the way in this jungle

Hi,

I am a lost soul who needs to find the way which will get his lazy ass very far away from his ghetto.

I love web, I mean, I am addicted to it for like 15 years, so - on this way I learnt some things here, some things there. I know html, css well and I can edit php, python, javascript (but can't build full back-end project because when I start writing a code, every ******* library is flown away from my head).I built like 20-30 websites on wordpress in this time, 10-20 on joomla and 1-2 sites with other known cmss, some were just blogs, some were ecommerce and forums. I also used to work with adobe cms once.I have experience with illustrations and vectors too, I can create everything I need for a project + banners logos etc + repainting real people/things in vectors.I kinda know seo, I have global view how that works and also know what is important and what is not.I know social marketing.and so on...

So whats the problem?
1. I have never tried fully focus on internet, invest in it and make a profit.
2.social anxiety. agoraphobie. It is impossible for me to start co-working with people in a digital marketing company... just like that...
3.and the main thing: because of the things mentioned above, I have to work alone, but I don't know where to start, start with building blogs focused on adsense and AM, or dropshiping or this or that.

If you ask, why don't you start one of them and see where life goes, my answer is: I can't, because I need green papers as fast as possible and I don't have time to test some things for like 5 years.

Can you please give me a guide/link/source/tip/trick or thoughts at least what you think noob player with some skills and like 1000$ to invest, can do to get his ass on a good track?

Thanks.

I would find someone who already has a business and knows how to make money...and recognizes the spot they can use your dev skills. If you can create a lot of platforms and content quickly, that would be valuable to the right individual. You have to plug into their situation and expand what they're doing, which will be much easier than trying to figure it out and starting from scratch alone.

You sound like me about 7 years ago when I first quit my job in order to pursue "making money online". I knew it was possible, but I just didn't know what exactly to do. I bought a course called "getting rich with eBooks" for $400, which was a lot to me at the time. That course was what started me on my path to where I am today.

That course instructed me to do the following:

      1.) Create a website
      2.) Have a lead magnet
3.) Have an automatic email sequence setup
4.) Have something for sale on the website
5.) Have some sort of shopping cart set up so that people can buy the thing that I'm selling, and have it automatically delivered to them

Today, all of that is basic knowledge to me, but it was all new back then.

I made a few sites, and I gave them half-assed attempts. I made a little sale here and there on my $7 ebooks, but I never got much traffic.

In 2016 I decided that I was going to get serious about it...

And that is when everything changed. Slowly but surely, I built my website up with valuable content. I give a lot of stuff away for free and build my following on YouTube.

I built a course that I originally sold for $47, but eventually raised it to $59. I kept adding to the course for 3 years, so it got better and better. I kept pumping out free content and kept adding to the course.

I'm a little over 3 years into this, and I make a steady $2K to $3K per month from my $59 product.

I'm now looking for ways to add another, more expensive product.

It's a never-ending grind. Everyday, I work on it. I didn't make anything for the first 6 months. Then when I released my product on my site, I started to make some sales. As time went on, the sales increased.

You literally just have to figure out what you are good at and what skill you could sell, and just start working on it. DO NOT stop.

Others may disagree with my philosophy, but it's working for me. Other people smarter then myself may be making more then $10K/month after a solid 3-year effort, but I'm doing okay with my business, so I'm happy.

      Get to it!

Imagine for example that 100 people will follow this advice. How many of them can / will succeed ? Is this business area where everyone can succeed ?

Maybe I'm missing something but to me it's not really clear on what you are doing or trying to do.

I'm assuming your goal is to make money and it's sounds like you've created a bunch of websites but how have you been trying to monetize your site?

BKelly301 above gave you good advice. Bottom line is you have to learn it and do it. Most MMO plans actually work if you just learn good, basic marketing. And you have 100 years or so learn from. Want to make money now......wait for it....you can't. Get a job. But you can DO THIS!

I can tell you what has worked for me. For the past 18+ years, I've been promoting affiliate / CPA offers. However, I do things differently than most.

I heavily promote PPL (pay per lead...lead generation) offers. This is because there is no credit card / purchase required to complete an offer. All a user has to do is fill out a form, so conversion rates are typically much higher compared to offers that require a sale to be made.

I favor offers that have a make, get or save money benefit to them, as they have overall worked the best. They also tend to have the greatest mass appeal (will be of interest to a large general audience), so the potential exists to produce high volume and they are fairly easy to cross-promote on the back-end.

Some of the verticals (niches) I have done extremely well with are: education, insurance, loans, debt, credit, mortgage, assistance, discount offers, homeowner offers, etc...

The bulk of the PPL offers that I promote pay $20-$40 per lead, but I also promote offers that pay more and less. You don't want to get too caught up on what an offer pays because how well it converts is just as important. For example, if you have an offer that pays $9, but if it converts at 2X or more of a $20 offer, then it will perform about the same or possibly better. At the same time, if you have an offer that pays $90 and it converts poorly, it may not even be worth promoting.

I have also done just as good with dating website sign-ups and pretty good with free trial + S/H offers. I also promote a very limited number of offers that are straight sales. For them, mass appeal is still the number one thing I look for and I also look for one of the following...

    1) The product is new and/or novel-unique and you can't purchase it locally or even something similar. I don't waste my time with it once something similar shows up in Walmart.

    2) The buyer can truly get what is being offered at a decent discount.

    3) Solves a house is on fire type problem.

However, I mainly promote non-PPL offers on the backend.

Bottom line, it's far easier to get someone fill out a short form than to get them to pull out their credit card and make a purchase. So why struggle with trying to sell this or that, when you can provide free information that users want/need and get paid well doing it.

    Something to think about.

Ok, to burst the bubble, there's no quick way to make money online. Those days are gone when there were loopholes galore and internet users were new to buying stuff online.

Nowadays, building an online business - as opposed to noodling around online in a hobbyist fashion - is going to require focus, dedication and time.

So my first suggestion is that you look at various business models and pick one that you like. These are the most common:

    1. Affiliate marketing with blogging.
    2. Affiliate marketing with paid ads (not recommended if you're new to paid ads)
    3. CPA marketing with blogging
    4. CPA marketing with paid ads (not recommended if you're new to paid ads)
    5. Affiliate marketing with sales funnels
    6. Selling stuff on Amazon (Amazon FBA)
    7. Doing eCommerce (using platforms like Shopify or GearBubble)
    8. Network marketing
    9. Self-publishing books with Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing

While I started out with affiliate and CPA marketing with blogging, these days I'm putting more time into building sales funnels for affiliate marketing. Once a funnel is built, you're done with it, apart from tweaking it to get better conversions.

With blogging, you have to spend a lot of time writing new content for your blog. It's a big time commitment.

And then you have to wrestle with SEO and make sure you're not violating Google's ever-changing rules.

In all the affiliate marketing cases, you should be building an email list. That means sending people to a squeeze page where you collect their email address before you send them to the affiliate offer.

You can then do email marketing and build a relationship with your subscribers. When people know, like and trust you, they're more likely to buy from you.

What you really need is a mentor, someone who's had success and knows what to do and what not to do. It takes too long to figure out things for yourself these days. So find a mentor who can guide you in whatever business model you decide to follow.

And you need to commit to that business model and not be distracted by other shiny objects, especially when you hit difficulties (and you will) with whatever model you're working on.

A good mentor will push you outside your comfort zone. Whether you resist or not is up to you but if you don't follow what your mentor advises, no matter how uncomfortable it makes you, you'll lose out in the long run and your mentor might come to the conclusion that you're not worth their time.

I'd also recommend you make videos for YouTube. No, it's not easy to get started if you're uncomfortable appearing on camera but you need to push beyond your comfort zone if you want to change where you are in life.

Your social anxiety and agoraphobia shouldn't be a problem here. You can do lots of practice by recording yourself and then watching your videos to see what needs improving.

You never have to upload these to YouTube. And you can always delete the really embarrassing ones!

Everyone who has a channel on YouTube was awful when they started posting videos. They got better with time and experience until today when they seem so professional.

You can always find tutorials on YouTube that will show you how to present yourself, how to talk and project your voice, how to appear more confident and so on.

And you never have to deal with anyone in person or leave the house!

Who knows, as you grow in confidence in making your videos, it might reduce your social anxiety, especially if you start earning money from your endeavours. Your confidence in your abilities will spill over into the social aspect of your life.

I spend 90% of my time alone. I see my friends once a week and my girlfriend once a week. The rest of the time I'm working from home or doing other stuff I enjoy,

I like being alone. I too suffer from social anxiety and you'd think that at my age, I'd have gotten over it. But no. It has become easier with time but has never fully gone away.

I find dealing with people in social situations exhausting. I'm ok up till the point where I know I just want to go home. And so I make my excuses.

    I've never been happier though.

So don't let phobias stand in your way.

Working from home isn't for everyone, but if you have the mindset to be able to deal with the solitude (if you live alone) or the noise and distraction (if you live with kids) then it's a great way to make a living.

What worked for me was doing a progamming day job for 20 years and investing every damn cent I made.

Also avoid office politics, stay out of water cooler discussions, leave your troubles in work and just remember you're just there for the money.

Like others have said, there's no "quick and easy" way to make money online. With the barrier to entry so low, the low hanging fruit has all been spoken for. But, if you're creative, you can make your own.

You just need to fill a need, and use your skills you've learned along the way to do so. You said you're good at launching Wordpress and Joomla websites right? Find someone who needs help doing that. Or, you can brush up on your SEO and PPC knowledge and give making your own site profitable a try.

You're not going to find something that'll make you money tomorrow, you need to make attempts and learn quickly. The fastest way to learn is to do.

If I were you, I'd do these two things right away:
    1) get a day job so you have money to live off of
    2) pick one (legit) online business strategy and stick to it until it either definitely works or definitely doesn't.

You'll essentially be working two full time jobs with little time for anything else. It'll suck for a while. That's just the way it is if you want the freedom of working for yourself eventually. But you sound very young, and getting your own business working immediately is a great way to build up your self-confidence and it will pay dividends for you in whatever you decide to do with your life.

    Hi JS,

Fear....fear of working with people, social anxiety. Until you address and feel these fears - however unpleasant - you repel-turn away the exact thing you need to get out of the jungle and to make money: people Plus, you fear running out of money (because you need it fast), so that fear repels the ideas you need to make money. Rough, and tough to swallow, but it frees ya, owning these fears.

As you follow business-building advice, build up your prosperity consciousness. Life gets easier if you face and feel deep fears, to proceed from a more abundant, open, generous, bold energy.

1000$ is enough for dropshipping and you can try Shopify for this... you just have to add products and they will optimize your shop in free and just you can focus on finding hot products...

Amazon FBA is not possible with 1000$..

another Idea I have for you to sell your skills like you have Development skills and you can find your way in this jungle by focusing on one side at a time... once you succeed one road you can choose 2nd one... there are several plateforms for selling skills warriorforum has its own warrior for hire others are Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer and Guru etc...
