anyone with godaddy affiliate?

I signed up for godaddy affiliate on CJ, all they are willing to offer me is 10% and this isn't even on hosting or domains.

For hosting they offer 0.00 per sign up, so whats the point of marketing their services for 0 commission?

I have emailed them, apparently no one on their program is on $100 per sign up which I think is a lie.

      I have, but I need godaddy because one of my sites is geared up just for godaddy.

    I used to be an affiliate for Go Daddy, they even offer you an opportunity to run one of their online stores which is a duplicate of their own only the commissions are a lot higher, as a customer you can access this option, I have been building websites with Go Daddy for many years and they are getting better.



    I prefer to generate my best affiliate marketing results in other areas proven to generate bigger returns now and this is working out a lot better for me.

    Look at other hosting providers. Bluehost has one of the best rates of commission, so you could promote for them. Siteground is also quite popular and you will get good conversions if you promote them.

    Why don't you try using Flexoffers instead of CJ. They do have a great support and hundreds of reliable hosting offers!

    The trouble with IM is that everybody will tell you to try this and that. But what I know is that all those companies are out to maximize profits so they try to keep the commission as low as possible. So I would advise that you market all of them to increase your earnings.

      I'd try to branch out and offer other services as well

    Promote all of them and include domain, website templates, SSL certificates affiliate programs and observe which ones convert the best :-)

    Why is it you believe that is a lie? Why would a hosting company advertise $1 hosting be paying $100 for a signup?



    There was a time when godaddy and hostgator, among others, paid handsomely for signups sent by affiliates.


    New services offer great affiliate payouts WHEN THEY ARE NEW. Paypal, ebay, hostgator, godaddy and many other well known services used to pay good $$$l for referrals that signed up. It was part of the marketing plan - to draw in customers. Once the business has become well-known, many (not all) services stop paying high commissions.



    If you want good payouts look for newly launched services that are on their way 'up' rather than those hosting and other services already well known to consumers.

      Those were the good old days. I remember when PayPal paid $5 for every referral and The Planet paid $1000 for every new hire referral.

    You can use Namecheap affiliate program to get good commissions on Domains and hosting. You can also promote some good hosting affiliate programs like Hostgator, Bluehost, Siteground, etc.

    This isn't 2010 - there are much better hosting options available these days.


    I've just moved my Windows hosting from GoDaddy. The new host is a third of the cost and the Plesk control panel is fabulous.
