Master Licenses vs Joint Ventures

I have recently acquired two Master Licenses - one is an excellent 13 cd and workbook course by one of the World's top copywriters, which has strategies in it which made one student $100,000 in one day, and $15,000 six days later.

The other is for a 4 day, money making packed seminar, where the top quality speakers showed the audience how to make $22,000 live, from scratch in one day.

I have some re-sale rights available for the courses, which have all the fulfillment taken care of - the resale rights cost $4,499 each and the cost of the course itself is $997 and comes - I'm wondering whether or not I should sell the resell rights to the products, or sell the courses as a joint venture?

    Hi Shawn

Thanks for the post, the website for the Copywriting course is www.marketingmagic.worldinternetbuilder.com it costs $920 for the course and $4499 for the resale rights. The resale rights come with full sales materials and promotional DVDS, plus fulfillment. The author of the course, Brett McFall has excellent testimonials and the course has produced some great results.

I thought it could be a great back end product but I am not sure as whether or not to offer the resale rights or find a JV partner.

Any opinions from anyone would be gratefully received

    Hi Frank,

No it's not the Dan Kennedy package, although I have come across that one before. It's a package by Brett McFall called 'Ad Camp' - a 13 DVD set with work books which is all about direct response copywriting and using it to build a profitable online business.

Do you think it'd be better to sell the resale rights to this or JV it?

I think it depends on your JV abilities? Do you have relationships with people you can approach? If you can JV with people with huge and/or responsive lists, of course it could bring in a nice profit, while keeping less licenses floating around.

On the other hand, selling the licenses would bring some real nice cash in for you. Do you have a way to find viable candidates for that? It is a steep asking price.
