ClickBank: Are there any ways to estimate monthly sales grosses for CB products? (eBooks etc.)

I'm looking to create new information products, especially eBooks, to sell.

I've got some ideas, but I'd like to know the potential market for a niche CB eBook.

Are there any known ways to estimate the monthly sales grosses of various ClickBank products? Gravity doesn't really seem to give a good idea on this, as far as I can tell. And I'm looking at it more from a content creator side, not an affiliate side.

    Gravity is the only sales metric that Clickbank provide and you are right, it can be very misleading.

    Many people tend to get seduced by large gravity figures, only to find they cannot seem to replicate what they perceive as other people's success. Others deliberately choose low gravity products to promote because they may be less competitive.

    With regard to researching the profitability of your niche, you might be better looking at Amazon where you can find the sales rank of any book (displayed at the foot of each listing) and then putting that figure into a 'BSR to Sales Calculator' such as ...
