Different way to make money with Amazon?

Hello Everyone!

I am exploring different ways to make income online. Amazon is a stable platform....at least its what college studies make it seem to be. I was wondering what are different ways people can earn money using Amazon? Affiliate marketing? Etc?

When you do paid traffic and considering the small commissions you probably earn from these products, I don't think that it is really worth it.

Unless you have a website that is getting you free traffic and you get consistent sales from it with NO marketing budget coming out of your pocket, I just don't think that paid ads should work with this unless you can earn anywhere between $100 and all the way up to a $500 per sale.

Yes, it is a stable platform, your college studies were not wrong. And as was pointed out to you, there are at least those 15 ways to make money.

But what isn't mentioned are the MILLIONS of other people using it, and for every one that does well with say, retail arbitrage, maybe a 1000 don't make a dime.

For every ebook author who has made six figures from their book, maybe 100,000 who haven't made 1000 from theirs.

Those who have used Amazon as their platform and have been successful have spent time, AND focused in on the thing, and took the TIME, to learn and spent the TIME to stay with it and become the top % of earners in whatever Amazon thing they are doing.

You face stiff competition, especially as one who hasn't focused and is looking at it as a big juicy mouth watering steak and you want to take a bite of it, it isn't the fastest way, and for many it isn't the best way either. Almost all of those 15 ways discussed in that article emphasized the SMALL AMOUNTS of money one will make.

So, sure, consider AMAZON as one of your streams of income, unless fully prepared to go all in, but you might want to consider one of the other STABLE platforms which exist too.

Instead of platforms, look in the mirror and ask that reflection what would be the ideal activity, and if you get an answer, then go look for a stable platform to do that on.

A lot of people ask that question in this forum. My answer is look around the forum and do not spend any money. There is always time to spend later. For now it is time learn - not time to spend to learn. You know what I mean?

When you do find something that you 'know' you can be successful at and possibly do it better.
    vs.
When you do find something that you 'think' you can be successful at and possibly do it better.

To keep it simple.. Take action on something that you 'know' you can be successful at and possibly do it better.

To succeed on Amazon no matter what niche, you need tons of advertising and to compete with the big guys who have big budgets can be daunting task these days. You need to register with as many social media platforms available to establish your presence if you don't have the large budgets as the big guys who even employ experts to handle marketing for them. You can try a few of the softwares in the market such as Traffic Robot, Bonusify etc., etc., to aid you in mass marketing.and advertisement.

You also need to be ready to learn, learn the tricks, from e-books available on the tips and hints on the selected niche.
Success to you, with hard work and an open mind you will make it.

Perhaps the easiest (and the one method I use extensively) is the Amazon affiliates program. Writing engaging articles and submitting them to relevant online/offline publications is the fastest way I know to drive massive quantities of highly convertible traffic.

For any given commercially viable niche, there may be hundreds or even many thousands of publications suitable for such articles. Most editors are hungry for quality content for their reading audiences.

Another option is drop shipping and print on demand products like tees and mugs. For people with basic graphics skills, they can create designs and have a print on demand service automate the entire print and fulfillment process.

For example, Printful.com is a POD. Upload your designs to Printful and you can sync them with Amazon and Printful will handle everything else when someone purchases your tee on Amazon.

For marketing you can use Amazon's internal search and exploit Amazon's "authority" in Google rankings meaning it's usually a lot easier to rank an Amazon page that one on your own site.

Social can also be good for promoting POD products on Amazon and with a creative design and some luck can go viral.

You can earn on Amazon by selling your products on the platform. You can also be Amazon marketing affiliate. You can use Amazon for dropshipping which means buying products from the in bulk and retailing them in a much higher price. But if you love writing you can publish your own ebook in Amazon Kindle.

In my tens years of working online the best step I took was to set up my Amazon FBA business. It I had to start all over again I would do it on day one.

A few people above mentioned that you need traffic to make money online. Well guess where that traffic is - buyer traffic is already on Amazon and they are all looking to buy something. Putting your inventory in front of huge amounts of buyer traffic makes complete sense to me!

Absolutely amazon FBA. Yes there are many ways to earn from amazon, but FBA is by far the most interesting way to make money. You need pretty big amount of funds in the beginning and along the way to successfully manage the business but after you find what product sells well you can scale to hundreds of thousands of dollars revenue.

Granted, most Amazon affiliates make hardly anything with the Amazon affiliate program. But I know of many that do make a killing - upwards of 5-6 figures a month and more. So the realistic potential is there.

Content is "king", and always will reign supreme. Your users are more likely to "trust" the links you place on your site if they see that the content you are creating is relevant, in-depth and provides value.

It is essential to have "buyer intent" content. Sites which post engaging reviews of nich-relevant products probably have users who are more willing to purchase products than those reading about product details. Getting buyer intent content can be difficult because you need to understand the psyche of your potential customer.

For example, the niches I sell to are mostly within consumer, business and major industries that regularly use a wide variety of expendable products. My strategy is to write and widely distribute articles mostly about high-end industrial, scientific, and medical products with embedded Amazon text links.

This model is perhaps the most effective and least expensive, IMNSHO. With only a few relevant articles, there is virtually no limit to the number of online/offline publications which already are targeting the eyeballs of your prospective audiences.

Of course, the real power in the Amazon associates program is that you will earn commissions on anything your readers buy during a shopping session, even if it has nothing to do with the product(s) you're promoting.
