Affiliate marketing questions,

I have been reading a little on affiliate marketing and trying to see if from what I read it means this below. Thanks in advance

So from what i have been reading about affiliate marketing, (tell me if I am wrong) but from what I gather is you get-create-pay someone to make a one page website with information and price etc. and then find a payment gateway and then find affiliates to sell this item and give a commission for each sold 30 to 40%. Is this correct?

So then guessing the way it is sold is the affiliates have leads, email etc. they send info to their leads via numerous ways including email marketing to potential buyers with a link to the payment gateway and /or links back to the one page website and then the potential customer pays for said item-product and then the affiliate automatically gets commission from payment gateway or product owner pays commission. that is how it is sold - works correct?

Granted up to affiliates if they think product is good or not and have choice to sell it or not correct

There is a lot more to it than that. What you describe is basically the simplest formula for marketing info products. There are many more ways to market those same info products and even more ways to promote physical products.

A couple of good sites to get some good beginner info is affilorama and niche hacks.

If you are going to try and recruit affiliates to promote your offer. You need to fully test the offer and have all aspects dialed in and be able to show that it's a high converting offer and have the stats to back it up?

I'm what is considered a super affiliate. I have what I've always termed opportunity costs. During any given day/week I can only promote a certain number of offers. So I'm obviously going to promote those that have proven to produce the greatest ROI ... will provide me with the best opportunity to make the most amount of money.

I get contacted frequently by those wanting me to promote their offers. If they can't convince me that it is worth testing (worth risking my opportunity cost) then I tell them I will run a test on CPM. Assuming I feel it's even worth testing (I think it has a chance of performing well for them) and by doing CPM, I'm at least guaranteed a return. Of course, this is quite often not acceptable, as they want me to bear all the risks of testing their unproven offer. Which shows the lack of confidence in their own offer.

In general, you're correct. In the IM/Make Money niches a lot of the promotion is via "launches", with a new product available at a special price for a limited time.

Because of the "scarcity" of the limited time deals, those promoting these product launches use almost exclusively email lists, with a little social. Affiliates need to send traffic quickly and email is the best way to do it.

It can be tough to get started as an affiliate or vendor in IM. Most vendors won't approve affiliates without a proven sales history and most affiliates won't promote a vendor they don't know. A lot of IM isn't what you know, but who you know.

Many digital IM products on Warrior Plus and JVZoo offer 50-75% commissions. And it's worth considering offering 100% commissions on $7-12 products as a way to build a list of buyers for "free". Your goal here isn't to make a profit directly, but rather build a list, offering people that already have lists as much incentive to mail for you as possible.

Another very common method is to have a sales funnel in place with multiple upgrades and offer affiliates 100% on the FE and 50% across the entire funnel.

The best advice I can give you is this.....

When going into affiliate marketing this should be your mindset:

"I am going to succeed and do what ever it takes to make it. I will never give up no matter what and if others are doing really well, then so can I." ( Say this even when things are not working out)

This winning attitude will build a good foundation for your future success.

Question: I filled out a few applications to represent a few natural products, but my applications were denied. I'm just starting out and need advice.
If someone can reach out to me on the best way to fill out a proposed application, that will be great as well.

    Thank you!

From the above post what i can understand is you need to see some detailed course and get a good idea then make a plan before wandering here and there. It wont help you but just waste time.
Try to be organized and then plan.

Yeah... it looks simple... but you have to be careful what products you choose and where you promote them... you need to find the right audience.
