Is this a im stratergy?

okay been reading up on this forum for a week or two no, mainly to learn how to earn a bit of money off a site i will be setting up soon, main purpose of the site is not for money, but if i can earn off it why not.

since reading i have become engrossed in all the different ways to make money online (niches, keywords, ppc, cpa, etc..) some of which i dont understand.

anyway onto the question.

this is unrelated to my original goal of earning of my main site.

do people make money, by just having a squeeze page?

i mean can you just:

find a product on clickband or similar

sign up for it

get related domain name

setup squeeze page that directs to product when email is given

get targeted traffic (free or paid for)

hope it sells

send related clickbank products through email list aquires.

can it really be that simple?

is this how some people work?

i know it wouldnt be exactley that, there would be, giving away "free" tips, products, etc that make the sale sound more appealing.

is this possible, or do you have to setup an entire fully working website, updating it regulary, to promote products

Yes, you can set up just a squeeze page and send traffic to it. With the list that you do build you will have to provide good content along with affiliate links. Most people don't want to subscribe to a magazine that only has ads. Same goes for list building.

Also, never hope something does anything. Test, test, test, test.

That advice is straight to the point.

Yes, iwantmore, you got the idea. But as Whiskey said, it is all about testing and figuring out what is working and what doesn`t.
Hopefully you`ll find out many useful techniques here on public posts and, eventually, in WarRoom too.
      Good luck

You can do that and make some money but as your list grows you will want to ad swap with other people with lists. Its free and very easy to do.

It can be that simple in theory and many people just starting in this business will do just that. It does take work. You have to be able to drive traffic to your squeeze page using one or more of the several methods you mentioned. As your list is growing you have to be able to write compelling emails that they will hopefully open, read and click through your links to view the products you are selling. Developing that relationship with your list that will help convert them to paying customers takes time and dedication to the process.

      It certainly can be done.

      Good Luck

Ad swaps seem like a winner on the surface but it really depends upon the way you have trained your list .

Some of my list would unsub in a heart beat if I sent an affiliate link to something . This is because they are tuned into me sending advice personally and only pushing my own products .

I could imagine what they would do if I basically handed them to someone else .

Anything is possible, but its not simple making money online. If it was simple, 90% of the people that try to make money wouldn't quit. If you take action and don't give up, you will find success.

It's simple if you keep it simple. People who fail with the simple things don't condition their mind to give themselves the belief they need in order to make things work.

It all starts with your beliefs, without a strong belief, you won't take much action which results in close to zero results which leads to lowering ones belief and this is a poisonous endless cycle that 97% of individuals follow online.

        thats all great information,

i really needed to hear that this was the"basics" of what you do.

i am under no illusion you do what i said and make money, i just wanted to break it down into simple terms to confirm that this is a process worth trying.

i have spent most of my time reading up on different traffic revenues, what to give away, how to gain cred, etc.

i was just a bit worried about weather, i had to setup an entire website for every niche i wanted to work in.

doing most of the markeing through an email list sounds much better to me, thanks for all your help.

        next step

In fact, there are many great marketers only setup squeeze page and follow up sale with their email, and they don't do fancy websites and blogs...

I love squeeze page and building list, that's a big business.
