Agile marketing, anyone?

The term "agile'" is most often used in software development, which in essence is a methodology in building programmes which allows for adjustments and changes to a project along the way.

Now, would this also work in a marketing-centric organisation?

    100% it would work.

It's basically using the concept of an MVP on every step of your marketing.

A few months ago I heard about a company called MintCRO that uses the agile framework to build marketing campaigns. (Though I've never done business with them personally)

    It is definitely worth testing

I'm a software developer & sell worldwide. I find Agile a bit pointless. It does not really give anything which is not there already. I mean what is the point of standing in a circle each week to tell people what you have done and what you plan to do in the coming days?

In a few years Agile will be replaced by yet another methodology.

I agree... There is a huge discussion on Quora, something like "While software engineers hate Agile". There is one good idea in it that you should be flexible and ready to pivot if needed but to neglect formal planning is a really bad practice (for software projects)

As for the marketing? If you want to be flexible and follow the ideas that work, then yes. But I would not call it Agile as this word is very controversial after it is being used in software development

Sure, the concept of sprints can be applied to anything. For example - Testing a new audience set (from creating creatives to analytics of conversion in 10 - 14 days).
