Conversions - Or the lack thereof

Quick newbie question. I am promoting an offer and have had a lot of clicks but no conversions. It is a simple offer that is supposed to convert with email submission. A friend of mine actually saw the offer while he was with me, clicked on it, went through the process and submitted his e mail and that didn't convert either. I asked my AM if there was a global cap or if there was some other issue with the offer and he said there wasn't. I launched a similar offer on another network and am having the same issue. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong as I have complied with everything written in both offers as far as geos, traffic sources, demographics etc. if anyone has any Ideas I'm all ears and would be very grateful. I am getting the volume of clicks needed to be making some money with this but something isn't working right.

When you reach the landing page, does the url have your code?

I'll check that. I embedded my affiliate link on multiple images and a button on my own landing page but I didn't think to actually look at the offer landing page and make sure my link was showing up there. To give context though, the tracker is showing the clicks so I think it is. I appreciate you giving me something to look into anyway. I just want to figure out what I am doing wrong so I can fix it asap. As a new affiliate marketer I should be making five figures a day already like the gurus talk about in all of the youtube vids ;-)

I think most advertisers have to pay too much for email submit offers to be competitive. So they then have to shave to make the numbers work.

I stopped running them, for the most part, years ago.

Didn't know that so thanks for the info. I wish they'd just pay less and actually pay you if that is the case. I'll move on to greener pastures I guess.

The landing page, does it have a way for them to get something for free? Is the seller collecting visitors emails? If yes, once they get into the email sequence, they count as the seller's sales not yours and you get nothing.

If yes, drop the offer, find something where the seller isn't competing with you on the leads you bring in.

Email submits are horrible offers to run. I would just stay away.

Do you have any stats/data of how much traffic you ran with a breakdown of targeting, etc?

Are you using an established CPA network? or is this a standalone CPA program?
