Cashback website builder

Hi All,

I am thinking of starting a cashback website and wondered if there are any products out there that make this easy. I am not a developer so this could just be too complicated. I am pretty comfortable with a whole host of drag and drop builders and have very basic HTML skills. Is there anything out there that will do the job?

Thanks
David

Wordpress has a load of easy drag and drop page builders (plugins) which I find more bothersome than HTML (LOL). But before you go off on all that, answer for yourself the question above this comment!

What kind of functionality do you need it to have exactly?

As someone else said, it depends on what you want your site to DO . . .

WordPress makes it easy to add text, images, video, and a bunch of common stuff like social media Like buttons, Forms, count-down timers, etc. BUT if you want your site to do something unique, you'll need to either do the programming yourself or pay someone else to do it.

The time spent to learn how to do it yourself, or the money spent on outsourcing, depends on the complexity and functionality of what you want the unique features to do . . . some things are common and easy and you can just customise existing functions, but other things you might want, would need to be built from scratch, and might be complex.

So without knowing what you want your site to DO, there is no way to answer your question properly.

So, think through what you need your site to DO . . . for example, are you just providing links to other people's existing cash-back services, or do you want to implement a unique cash-back functionality on your site?

  • I'd recommend that you get a developer to help you with the tech side of things as is more complicated than it seems and concentrate with the MAIN part of any online business, that is Marketing!

Chris pretty much nailed it. Wordpress is okay for presenting content but its too limiting to do anything custom and if you want to do something with its own unique features then you have to either learn development/programming.

Thing is a lot of Imers spend years learning how to use various plugins for wordpress where they will never build anything unique or very functional when in the time it took for them to learn all the plugins they probably could have learned a simple but effective programming language

Soo As Chris stated you either learn yourself how to program or partner with someone who knows it

Hi All, Thanks for the message. I have been away for a while so apologies for the delayed response. I ultimately ended up paying a tech company to build the site from scratch. It seems there really is nothing out there that allows you to create this. I was surprised. Maybe a good idea for a genius techy to create a platform that can do all for a license fee. Anyway, thanks again for the responses.
