list of countries with high chargeback rates?

I have an online store and want to reduce frauds and chargebacks from customers.
seems a lot of these chargebacks are because the customer is using a stolen credit card to purchase.

I found that some countries are worse than other in that matter.
for example, from my experience, most of the chargebacks are from customers residing in the philippines or Indonesia.

there is probably a list of countries that potential customers residing in them are more likely to chargebacks.

I wan't to black list those countries on my sites, I just didn't manage to find such a list.... I guess I didn't google the right keyword...

what should I google to find such a black list of countries? does anybody happen to have a reliable link to such a list ?

    I did a google search for

    countries with high chargebacks

    and quickly found the site below (no relation to me in any way) with every bit of info you might need.

    One thing I found interesting on that site was that the list of 'high risk countries' changes drastically from one year to the next. Payment processors stop serving countries with high chargebacks/deceptive transactions - makes sense.

    Another item of interest is that chargebacks rates are highest during the first quarter of the year.

    There's a server side option to adopt IP redirects based on their region.

    So you won't have to fiddle with anything else. I redirected for example Spain to a video and pitches about a testimonial of Louis Martinez. Get your own server now, it gives you such control is insane.

    Then perhaps use Cloaking to feed the beast with invisible content.

    If that works... and you push it to the limit -- the sky is the limit.

    Anyway back to your predicament. Get your own server and install
    the module to filter traffic on autopilot. But be rest assured that it's
    one of the most sound investments.

      those kind of stuff I can do after I have a list of regions I considered risky.

      I suppose you could go to that kind of trouble. Personally, I'd just set up the payment/shipping settings so that you don't ship to any of those countries or accept payments from them.

      It's easier to start with places you WILL accept orders from than to do it the other way around. There are far more countries that I do not consider "safe" than ones that are relatively fraud-free.

        I agree with this. As long as you are already doing turnovers of millions, I would suggest using payment gateway's anti-fraud features. Better off focussing on scaling up instead.

    I would think it's more of the product itself that is the problem. Higher costing products would be under less scrutiny.
