Creating a system for affiliates to promote my products structured as a "method."

Nearly all the top sellers on W+ and JVZ in 2019 were a variation of this.

I will, of course, include the "built-in free traffic" - AKA social share buttons.

If I remember right... Michel Chaney did that so well, with 7 Figure Franchise. I remember thinking it was brilliant.

You said something else that I think ALL people should focus on.

F*CK goals... focus on building systems.

I learned that several years ago from Scott Adams.

He talked about setting up systems instead of goals... that way
you're constantly improving and getting what you want... without needing
all of the motivation that goals often require.

With goals, you often STOP once you reach them... but with systems...
you keep on trucking and hopefully getting results.

That's one way to look at it. I think you setup a system to reach the goal. Once you hit the goal the system should stay in place and a new goal (or goals) that are more difficult and aggressive should come into play.

This way you are always pushing for more.

It depends on what people think a goal is . My main goal is to live another hundred years and be healthy and mobile up close to the end .

When I started working on this goal 5 years ago the way my health was I would have probably been dead withing ten years.

Right now my blood pressure is way to high and I don't take medications. A few months ago I injured my eye and went to the hospital at 4 am and my BP was180/130

And the scale said I had put 25 pounds on over the summer. I have taken 10 pounds of that off .but I still have 60 pounds to lose.

The last 4 months I have been working in a dining hall and I can go in and make what I want to eat almost any time .

I have had to learn how to grab a couple tomatoes and stuff them down. Instead of the fried food we make every day.

I am going to move in the next few weeks and the business I want to get in is growing greens micro green an culinary herbs . And virtually all of the food I eat.

This way my buisiness goals are tied to.my health goals permantly and once I get the income to sustainable levels . And get my weight to where I want it

The main thing will be to build the infrustucture of the the growing operation with the question is this how I want to do this when I am 70 80 or90

I want to permanently live in a tropical environment mainly because of the way I sweat it can be negative degrees temps outside and if I am moving around I will sweat through the clothing . And just end up cold so it really effect my mood being cold all the time

So it has been a long process of identifying the ideal buisiness to achieve life goals .

Doesn't this make "Building Systems" the goal?

I have listened to a few hundred hours of Scott Adams content .so I understand the message .and reading your posts the last few days it looks like you have a similar system .

As your goals seem not to be end point or final destination but pieces of a larger project you have going on in you life

So you naturally use one goal to put pieces into place to achieve other goals after.

But here is what is hard to explain many time you can't even know what most of those goals can be untill after you have the pieces in place .

If you can't cook but then you set out to learn the basics of cooking and seasoning food..

Once you learn that it opens up many possibilities you may not have know existed before you learned to cook .

Or lean a language that is widly used

But that's kinda the point... Goals are stepping stones to bigger better greater or newer things. There are 3 points of reference at play here Past, Present and Future. You can draw on the past for experience. you can look to the future with ambitions and you can set goals in the present - and move in the direction to complete those.

Do I have goals for the year.. sure I do... Do I have aspirations and ambitions for 2 years from now.. 5 years from now not so much - YES - there are "Systems" in place that will carry through that time period.. there is an amount of expectations and desired outcomes with those "Systems" and THOSE are long term goals. Just like building whatever "System" at the time was a Goal.

My long term way out there stuff... I have a Bucket list for those... If opportunity presents itself I would like to... Sky dive or Build an IPO or whatever - actually my bucket list is running low so maybe a goal I should have is to make it longer again LOL

So in a nutshell you have experience ( the past ) You have the future where you can set an amount of expectations and point out aspirations and objectives and ambitions. and then you have NOW. Setting goals or small steps to reach those future desires.

I still promote some of Chaney's stuff. I'm auto-approved for everything he launches.

I've bought probably thirty of these in the last year and they are all pretty much the same. I just need to find a good coder and it's on.

      Nope, they're not the same.

I once did a bodybuilding show back in 2004.

I set a goal to lose 50 pounds in 90 days, in time for the bodybuilding show.

And I did lose the fat, entered the contest, and placed 5th.

After the day of the show, I literally ate everything in sight and put 20 pounds
back on in about a week.

That was a goal... it required a short term burst of motivation.

And once I reached the goal, that motivation fizzled.

These days, what I do is set up systems to do the same little
      habits EVERY day.

I don't need any motivation... this stuff is just done.

I eat the same time, the same kinds of foods, work out the
same days, etc... there's no "end point".

Instead, I'm constantly and always improving... unlike with
reaching goals, you can reach it and lose motivation.

By building systems that you do each day, regardless, there is
no stopping point or end point. But instead, when you follow
the system, you're always getting results.

And it may help to think of systems as "habits", in a way...
which means unlike goals, you always do them.

That way, you always get the results you want AND you're
      always improving.

      Hope this helped.

    Shawn .

Building a system is the goal . But it is better than setting a single goal .

I prefer Scott Adams advice to most of the goal setting and mastery advice that is the core of self help.

Buld systems and build many skills that work together to get a better results than mastery .
