There are hundreds of ways to get ideas for content in most niches. What's you best content idea generation tip?

Here's one of mine:
Google this:
golf filetype:pdf "table of contents"

Substitute "Golf" for your topic.

This should give many ideas for most broad topics.

Now you show me yours!

When I started out blogging--too many years ago to count-I would always run out of ideas,

Now however, I realize how silly I was.

Head on over to popular forums in your niche.

And now with a site like Quora it is really easy to come up with ideas to write about.

Just type in something and you will have plenty of ideas.

Now sure, some of the questions are silly--but that is to be expected.

Lastly, an oldie but goodie--head on over to ezinearticles and you will get tons of ideas.

    Hope this helps.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly or GB&U.

I only write content for two niches and that content covers the GB&U of my target market.

My target markets are "Big Spenders" and "Big Boasters" who love a common sport. They really love to boast and show off their "personal" achievements to a crowd of like minded people.

Those same people almost never share my content with their social group of like minded people (personal friends) because they want to be the BIG DAWG. Those same people will spend big bucks for my newsletters and telephone conversations.

    Why?

My content is not only researched - better than that - I am the content! I personally go out to the sport - participate and report back to THE BIG DAWGz - the GB&U.

My target market wants to experience my personal results. They want to live their dreams.

Do that and you'll never run out of content.

Nice one Bjarne, "filetype:" always brings out the best content on the web.

As for me, I've been using a personal strategy that not many people know about.

    Here it goes

Go on LinkedIn, and search for content like this "comment below" + yourniche.

So you would search for something like: comment bellow e-commerce

This method always gives out viral content, because LinkedIn influencers use this "comment below" technique as a way of growth-hacking their engagement.

Now, people only really comment on topics they're really invested about, so you'll know exactly what highly-interested people are really looking for in your niche right away.

What do you think about this? Was this what you were looking for?

    A. Read any and everything I can on niche.
    B. Meditate beneath my pyramid with the Rife machine set at a certain frequency.
    C. Scented candles.
    D. Olympus VN 7200 voice recorder on pause.

    BOOM, content.

  • For some of us, this post is an open invitation to abuse the Cosmos.

Thankfully, I been watchin' Disney's Mipsity Moop, Angel of Modesty, wherein the avatar heroine wears 20 wetsuits so's she nevah exposes no flesh.

All I know is, all content demands a content-sized maw to come gobble it up.

Otherwise it don't actschwlly fill nuthin'.

Great stuff! Thank's so much for all the tips, and keep them coming if you have more :-)

I have another google search I often do.

Go to Google image search, and search for broad topic + mindmap

    for example:
    fiction writing mindmap
    marketing mindmap
    business mindmap
    etc.
