Someone I know uses Flashback Express and it seems to work for him.

You can achieve this using VSDC free version. But some advanced features like video stabilization are only available in the Pro version.

With the free version, you can still add voiceover as a separate MP3 file to the video, if that's what you mean.

Sorry, but the whole premise of the headline is absurd to begin with. "High quality" and "free" are almost always mutually exclusive.

How about putting in the bare minimum of effort and answering that question, yourself? If that's too much of an effort, I can tell you already that your chances of success at anything are pretty slim. The fact that you even asked the question gives me serious doubts.

I hate to sound harsh, but the main reason people fail at any endeavor (online or offline) is that they want everything to fall into their laps. I assure you, no matter what road you choose to go down, there will be many obstacles that you are going to need to research and solve, yourself.

The hard work has already been done for you - recommendations. They may not be accurate or exactly what you asked for but welcome to the online world. That's the way everything is. It's up to you to sort through things and make your own decisions as to what is best.

  • Filmora9 is an excellent alternative to Camtasia. I believe that there is a free version, but with the free version a watermark for Filmora will be on the video.

I use screencast-o-matic. It seems to cover all that you're requesting.

I recommend Active Presenter. I've used may times over the last 5 years and have created many videos with it.

Camtasia is $249, not really expensive. My suggestion is to just buy it if it does what you need. If you are mostly looking for the screen capture capability, you can go with OBS and then use any number of options for editing the output.

I have been using Screen Cast Omatic for years there is a FREE version and a paid version but the paid version is only $15 per year and it is really user-friendly. The support is great

    Hope that helps
