Is this a possible way of stealing affiliate commissions?

I have a webpage with an offer code on it.

Each time someone copies text from my page, I have Google tag manager fire an event to Google Analytics.

If I look in Analytics, there are event records of that offer code text being copied a hundred times over that past month. I also use Mouseflow which SHOWS a recording of them copying the code from my page.

The weird part is that the company claims no one has used my code past a particular date one month ago... it just stopped. There were many before that date and I successfully got paid, but then none even though Analytics and Mouseshow show the code being copied.

I'm baffled. How can this be possible?

That sounds hard to prove. Is there anyway you can prove that people copy then actually USE the code to make a purchase?

If not then you may not have a leg to stand on

Interesting. I would call them and explain it and email the evidence.
