Hey all, new to the forum so let me know if I'm asking the right question. Basically, we have a marketplace where we promote products on behalf of other service providers. At the moment, we only currently sell two items through WooCommerce. Other than that, we are looking at a commission structure. The trouble is, I'm trying to figure out a clear way (that has the most reliable data) to track those affiliate links. I wanted to use Advanced Ads but my developer said with the changes to 3rd party cookies, that is not going to work.

Does anyone have a piece of tech, or a workaround that they could point me in the direction of?

Thanks Bianca

Sorry for the confusion, but do you want to track sales of your affiliates. or are you going to promote affiliate products and want to track those?

Step 1: Study the affiliate product/service you're selling ... figure out its market

Step 2: Find the market/target audience online

Step 3: Study how OTHER marketers selling similar products target the same audience

Step 4: Come up with your own content marketing / ad targeting strategy

Step 5: Pick winning experiments and scale them up

Of topic, but I hate when people are asking questions and do NOT come again to reply or to check the answers. It happens all the time and I actually don't understand why. The OP asked the question on the 20th of February and it was the last time he/she visited this forum, so it's been about 17 days since the question was asked and never checked again by the op. And it's always from the new people.

I actually don't care if the OP will come back again, but it's just sad how some people putting all the heart and put a lot of effort to give as much detailed and informative answer as possible and the OP never see it...

I think people have a question so they go to various sites asking for an answer...and forget where they have been.

Hopefully, someone else learns from threads like this....and if they end up attracting one liners and spammers, we close them.

It's not clear to me what you are looking for.

However, for professional affiliate management, tracking, reporting, etc...

The top 3 platforms are cake, hasoffers(now "Tune"), and hitpath. I have also worked with an advertiser that used offerit. It was acceptable.

They should all have some form of a basic starter package. My preference is cake. The link for their basic package is https://getcake.com/signup/?c=2

I was previously using GetAmbassador which was crazy expensive (around $1k per month) and recently switch to First Promoter - it's like $79/mo and super easy to use.

JVZoo tracks affiliate clicks with AND without using cookies at all, currently. They have a great FB group if you have questions after you've read their free training.
