This Must be the Holy Grail of YAHOO ANSWERS: 13 links in the answer

There's a lot of discussion about Yahoo Answers on WR.

Thought I would share what might be the longest Yahoo Answer with more links than I could conceive would be acceptable.

Go here.

It's obvious it was set up because:
  1. There was only one answer - HIS
  2. He got to 250 points (makes his links clickable) and then vanished.
But jeez - 13 links !!

And BTW, it worked for him. I was searching in Google for "5 Star Pillar Affiliate" and his Yahoo Answer came up number "6."

Note: This answer is 3 years old and still ranking.

I have to wonder if Yahoo will let someone get away with something like that now.

Would it be worth setting up a separate Yahoo account just to test it? Maybe. And did having so many links in one answer help in the search results?

Food for some thought.

Mmm, don't get more people into Yahoo! Answers lol. With many long-tail keywords for niches I can set-up a question with the keyword and then answer it myself. I do nothing but best answer it and within a day it is on the first page of Google.

    In short: Yahoo! Answers works!

Nice link by the way, I might be able to take something from it

Okay. Shhhh. Let's keep it to ourselves. No one will read this.

It does work. Better than most stuff.

Knowing how to "best answer" is key.

Wow, 13 links that certainly is impressive. I would think that if yahoo didn't catch it, diligent YA fans would.

It never hurts to test things!

Don't now how many readers/viewers the question got, but it's just as odd that no one else responded to the question - real or not.

Once you get to 250 points your links are then active.
They did this to stop the spammers putting links all over the place.

Keep answering til you get to level 2 and you will be right to go.

When the first answer is so long and detailed, often others won't answer because of it. The link in the source box looks to be a dead blog.

I agree with Ruth about people not bothering to post a response after such a detailed answer. I also find it interesting that "he" uses a female avatar.

Very hard to ignore. Almost hard to believe. And the rank is sooooo quick.
