Hi, I'm a big new and I got a question for you?

My blog got indexed, but I got indexed for my blog post title (good) but I got indexed for my tag too, so I got like 35 indexed page for 5 post. I don't know what setting to change to only get my post title indexed. Now I got so many link with duplicate information it is just crazy. I don't know to much about SEO but I know that is not good.

I don't know if I need to find a setting in my plug-ins like all in one SEO Pack or in wordpress somewhere.

Thank you in advance for your help and sorry for my English, I'm French.

Your should create a robots.txt file and use it to tell the search engines which pages not to index... If you do a search, you can find several examples how to do it:
duplicate content wp tag pages - Google Search

Or, you can use this plugin, to do the same:
WordPress › Robots Meta WordPress Plugins
    Signature

I'm trying to understand the issue. Is this bad for SEO because there are too many pages for content? In other words, a potential duplicate penalty?

    Thanks,

    Drew

    @iamacamper,

Yes, basically you have the very same content on:
    index/home page
    category pages
    monthly archives
    search results
    tag pages
    feeds
    Signature
