Are there any squeeze/sales page template themes designed for wordpress? I be happy to pay good money for a good quality one

If you're looking for Wordpress themes, a simple Google search for "Wordpress themes", "Best Wordpress themes" or anything similar will bring up a big list for you to choose from.

For squeeze/sales page templates, there are a lot of people who sell that. Just lookout for the designers in the Warrior Forums. They've got excellent stuff.

I've custom made mine... "Private Label Content" - Self-Help PLR Content . I just used a free Wordpress theme then gutted out the contents inside and only kept what I wanted for my home page sales letter.

The neat trick is that I've set it up so I have custom templates within Wordpress so I can easily create a regular Wordpress page and just select "Sales Letter" from the drop down box, then the layout automatically changes. You can even create other completely separate custom layouts (squeeze page, thank you pages, etc.)

If you'd like me to create one for you, PM me.

Try out Revolution Themes by Brian Gardner. They're just brilliant. Google the term "Revolution Themes" to see for yourself.

I know about revolution themes. They are very nice looking but I think they are more suited to magazine layouts than sales page

    Hi there,

There's a Warrior called Paul (can't remember his surname but will dig for it) who has a product that details exactly how to do this.

He is from the UK and so if he reads this he might know he is the person I am referring to.

He puts an opt-in box at the top of each post using a neat little method.

I'll check my email for his full name so you can contact him.

    Hey, Teo
You' re not alone- many other marketers (including myself) love wordpress and would like to use it for salesletters and landing pages. So a few weeks ago I gave that idea to a friend of mine- a programmer and he' s working on a killer solution.
I believe he' s releasing it to the market within a couple of weeks.

I build my own salespage templates for wordpress to benefit from the plugins like all-in-one-seo-pack. They also help your landing pages get great quality scores in google adwords.

Here is an example of a membership site I built with wordpress and I customized my own page templates for salespage and free report page. Visit VideoMarketingSeries.com and click on the Join page in the sidebar navigation. You can also check out the Free Report page also.

If this is what you are looking for or anyone else, I would be happy to build you one. We can workout a resonable fee depending on what you need. I am not much of a copywriter, so you'll need that already.

I am also in the process of building an entire mini site inside wordpress to get the seo benefit and high quality scores for advertising on adwords.

Anybody interested, just PM me or contact me at my design business at Top Rank Design and I'll get back with you.

I am working on my own solution and I am almost ready for beta testing. I plan to have several landing page templates to choose from, as well as, the ability to add your own landing page templates. The site will allow you to automatically create a website and add as many word press blogs as you want automatically with several plugins already enabled with the ability to add your own plugins to the default install and then being able to select paydotcom, clickbank, other affiliate products, as well as your own products and adding them to the word press blog in a store, landing page, article, or review site format. You will be able to control all your sites from the membership area or if needed one by one through cpanel, wordpress, and ftp. Each wordpress blog will already have over 40 wordpress themes installed and ready to choose from. Of course you can also add a different theme.

Please check out the video links given a quick demo of some of the functionality that will be available in my new product in my signature below and let me know what you think. I am looking for any feedback.

It seems like a basic theme with a firstfold spot for squeeze information. Kind of pricey for that.

  • I spent a week tweaking the living Jesus out of a 1-column wordpress template to make it look real good as a squeeze page and eventually I went back to ole good HTML pages. The problem is that wordpress tabulates some things that it shouldnt, such as Javascript tracking scripts, border=0 tracking images, etc.

Eventually, I created a HTML template with <php include> for the header and the footer, and now I craft my niche-specific squeeze pages in a matter of 20 minutes without needing to mess with pluggins, templates, wordpress installations, etc.

Quite frankly, there's no point in using wordpress if you just want to make a niche squeeze/sales page.

I don't use squeeze pages - they all look the same and look "slick".

I've found that niche markets are better served with a "real looking" website - one devoid of the huge buttons and endless testimonials for folks who are probably related to the website owner.

Just bring up WP and find a 3 column theme and use LOTS of pictures - I use 1 per article and put up lots of interesting information for the reader. My experience is that if you don't look like a slick used car salesperson you won't be treated as one. (Nothing against them by the way).

Just be honest and offer fresh, original material and folks seem to be more kind and spend time at your website. Allow them to follow you on Twitter and RSS and they will.

      Just my experiences...

I agree with a previous poster, thanks for all you great advice.

For some reason, I just cannot understand what makes wp so much more desired than an html editor like dreamweaver.

I can copy and paste the same text I saw in some of the example vids, ebed a vid and and reponse code and upload.

What part of the puzzle am I missing?

both pages look identical to me.

WP by itself is crude and next to worthless. Dreamweaver is a heavy duty product that technical schools and community colleges teach classes for - very complex; a HUGE learning curve.

The difference is the 7,180 plug-ins that are FREE to WP users. I use 25+ on all my websites and those plug-ins are state-of-the-art in php programming. I have paid contract programmers to program for me - cost a few bucks for a custom plug-in.

I've spent 3+ months, 1 year ago, reviewing ALL the Blogging and chat-room products and WP is clearly the leader in this area - all those programmers cranking out freebie plug-ins to help make me wealthy.

    Steps for troubleshooting:
    1. Deactivate all the plugins. If the problem disappeared activate them one by one, always checking which one will cause the problem to return
    2. Switch to another theme... like default.

    Hey sammida,

let me teach you something if you want to be on this forum for a long time.

    1. Don't quote EVER the whole post in your reply!
    2. If you have to quote - learn how to use the highlight/delete so that you will have only the line(s) that you are referring to in your answer.
    3. Do NOT post just "thankyou" or "appreciate" online replies! Never.
    4. Post back AFTER you tried the the suggested solution and give a description of what worked and/or what didn't.

Hope this will help you (and other new members).

Some other folks have mentioned FlexSqueeze above. I personally use that for most all of my sites now. Yes, it's expensive, but the back-end is quite robust and easily customizable. Furthermore, it also has a blog theme built in with A LOT more functionality than what you can get from just about any other theme I've encountered.

I still think, if you want to make a squeeze page, do it in HTML (or better, PHP) rather than in Wordpress.

Wordpress was designed to be a blogging platform. For that reason, you only have limited control over how your squeeze page will end up looking, unless you happen to be a pretty good designer.

More importantly though... if you're not easily able to SPLIT TEST your squeeze page, you're throwing away money. Can you easily split test your current fancy Wordpress theme? If not, why not have the same theme designed in HTML or PHP?

I love Wordpress for blogging, but for squeeze pages? It sucks.

Yes, I'm sure there are some very nice designs out there. But ask yourself the important question... can you split test easily?

With Wordpress, the answer is No.
