Are you experiencing more sales online now, than you did last month?

Are those of you who are in the MMO, IM, AM, B2B and WFH niches experiencing more sales online now, in this past month vs previous months this year?

More people are turning to online sources for entertainment in this present time, due to the pandemic. Are you currently channelling the additional online traffic into your sales funnel to increase your sales?

    It probably depends on niche

I suppose prepper / how to / entertainment sites should be getting more traffic

Most of my B2B customers are having a tough time right now, so sales have been down average 37% across dozens of niches. On the other hand, some sectors are doing exceptionally well or even booming such as in emerging technologies, health, medical, home business equipment/supplies, etc.

Business is doing very well right now because the competitions brick and mortar stores are closed making our UPS delivered goods more accessible and the most viable.

I know from a webinar JV broker that many IM webinars are getting best ever results currently, although others are getting lower results . . . it seems to depend on how well the offer is targeted to what people really want right now.

Well it depends on the location. Those that aren't hit too hard with the pandemic are still going about business as usual

  • Here at StatusCake Partners we had a stronger March compared to Jan and Feb in terms of both traffic and sales. As we are in the SaaS space servicing online businesses and online organisations that need website and uptime monitoring services as a priority.

  • Are you guys able to capitalize on the niches which are currently experiencing the booms in this period? Are you already positioned in those booming niches to monetize the booming traffic?

Or do you feel it's too late to infiltrate these booming markets?

An estimated up to half of small businesses will not survive this crisis, and even some major companies have been impacted so severely it will take years to recover.

But, I am seeing whole new business sectors coming on and many legacy industries that will benefit massively from the multi-trillion dollar stimulus infusion into the economy.

If you're not getting ready for the coming boomtimes right now, by producing content on a massive scale, advertising, promoting, etc, you will be obscured by others who are taking such actions.

I've had fewer sales since mid-February and decided to spend some time creating a second website and writing content for future use.

Online ventures are doing well intermittently. But this is not something to celebrate because it will not last. Remember production is falling while some sectors have stopped production completely. So as soon as you deplete the stoke, you will lack what to sell so things are going to become a little bit difficult for everyone unless something is done urgently to stop the pandemic.

I am definitely experiencing an increase in the mmo niche this month of March. It's only natural for that to happen with people being forced to stay at home and less or no income.

I see a huge spike in traffic. I see more signups, more posts. The next 2-4 months will be really good for IMers. And the trend will continue since the people that are just starting (or getting back to it) may stick to internet marketing after the pandemic's curve has flattened.

    What he said.

The complaint we see here consistently is 'I don't have time'. That's an excuse that won't work now. To be honest, I don't believe most of the claims I see here or elsewhere online about 'huge increase in business' right now due to the crisis.

I don't know about the rest of the world but in the US the economy was strong and I think the rebound at the end of this crisis is going to be faster than many expect. The smart thing to do THIS month is to position yourself to move quickly ahead when the pandemic ends.

If you are under a 'stay at home' order - you have time to write loads of content, to build new sites - to set 3, 6 and 12 month goals - to research topics and niches and keywords.

Some segments of the economy have not been affected significantly (or have pivoted), and a few others are expected to rebound fairly quickly. We've seen this happen in previous recessions such as in 2008, where fortunes were made as the economy recovered,

Even if the unemployment rate jumps to 20%, there is still a huge buying market in many niches. Billions of dollars have been pulled out of the stock market, and many people are sitting on cash.

With people at home (1 million+ employees are now working from home plus there are an estimated 15 million home-based businesses), technology is primed for rare opportunities. In addition, home improvement, DIY projects, gardening, health and fitness, cooking, toys, home office equipment, pet supplies are particularly lucrative right now.

Personally I don't see any differences in sales/traffic, but I have a friend who is running an amazon FBA business and he said that traffic and sales increased a lot, but it's because he is in such niches which currently is booming now because of a pandemic.

For some niches yes, mostly essential stuff like MMO is in-demand now more than ever, since people sitting at home with no job or income will probably be looking for ways to make money from home.

Yes more people are wanting to learn how to make money from home now. The question is for how long will they be interested and are they willing to pay you now to find out how?

A better question is who is motivated and willing to invest money, time, and effort in your MMO?

Chances are, the ones who are broke, out of work, and sitting at home with their "stimulus" checks are not your prime prospects.

It depends on the niche. Also, while people have more time on their hands, they are less likely to spend money now. The basic marketing strategies still apply: Make an irresistible offer to the right prospect, and your chances of success skyrocket.

Using the classic marketing gems in "Hypnotic Marketing" by Joe Vitale is still killing it in virtually any niche, including hypnosis.
