Does RAP Script allow me to do this?....

Hey Guys

Just wondering if any of you have any experience with this...

I am looking to recruit affiliates to promote offer, but want the leads to go through a squeeze page BEFORE they hit the sales page...

Is RAP script still able to track who sent the lead, even though the lead has opted in, THEN ended up at the sales page?

Hope this makes sense!

Thanks

Simon

I don't think RAP will track who gets the lead, but they can still track which affiliates make the sales if you send them to an opt-in page first and then a sales page.

You just need to set it up through the tap script using the templates - I've done something exactly like that in the past.

yes Rap has a pre-sell page that you can set-up for affiliates so they can drive trafic too. When you send out an offer in the future to these leads the aff will get credit for any sales they referred.

    Simon,

RAP won't, but some other tracking script might.

    Thanks,

John actually RAP should be able to do this with the new $0 sale giveaway feature, no?

The lead is registered in the RAP DB from the presell page and should tell in admin stats how many sales of $0 each specific affiliate refers.

Sid maybe if you read this you can clarify....

RAP won't let you track opt-ins, per se.

It WILL let you track sales referrals.

Everybody who buys something, or grabs a freebie via the comp.html template, or a $0 discount coupon code, WILL show up in the sales stats along with who referred them. But you'd want auto-optin enabled.

That way, the person with the most "sales" will also be the person with the most referrals.

    Frank,

The $0 coupon is used for giving away the front end product. I was understanding Simon to want to track a squeeze page to the sales page. Maybe I misunderstood.

Doing it this way is possible with some creativity on setting up the product. If there is no OTO, then it's not a problem. If a second offer is needed/required, then there is a couple of ways to do it.

Simon, did I misunderstand your question?

    Thanks,

    John

The guy to ask this question to is David Schwartz....I believe his name here on the forum is toolwiz...

I do believe you can do that...though I am not aware of it being a built in "out of the box" feature...you may have to play around with linking two products salespages together...

You can do this. David created a ebook that has some code to set the cookie allowing your affiliates to get credit. I am using something similar in a ecommerce site I will be building.

Good I found this thread - this is exactly what I need to do. But I think we cannot do that in RAP. So I am thinking about setting up Google Analytics tracking by using Goals.

      What do you think?
