What Affiliate Marketing System works best for you?

I am finally moving from Adsense to affiliate marketing. With a solid low
4-figures each month coming in from Google Adsense I am going
to start concentrating on creating product review sites and continue
article marketing.

I was wondering who has a system that works for them in terms of:

a) Product(s) niche selection
b) Content/Review site layout

    The affiliate model that works best for me is simple.

    1. Create a blog with a review of the product I'm selling. Make sure I have
    an affiliate link at the end of the review.

    2. Write an article a day on the topic and submit to EZA. Make sure I have a
    strong call to action in the resource box to my blog.

    Done.

    It's so simple, it's almost a joke.

    But don't take my word for it. Ask some of the people whose products I
    promote.

      So do you not depend on natural SEO traffic to your blog or is all your traffic mainly from article submissions. I already know that you submit gobs of articles but basically my question is do you update your blog occasionally or just leave it static?

        Steve - This is the direction I have been thinking I would like to go, I think. I am still waiting to take that first step after I kill that fear monster. But anyway.

        I got a theme for a review site for WordPress just yesterday which is reviewing multiple products. Is this what you are talking about, or just a blog about the product? I am wondering how long a life a blog about a single product can have. And how do you handle the temptation for people to want to post and turn people away from your message to use your affiliate link. I am sure that can be a problem, especially if someone gets pissed off. Either a competitor or a disgruntled buyer.

        I don't suppose you would want to share a couple of links with us to show us what you are talking about. It seems like it is your trade secret, but then it is out there on the World Wide Web for everyone to see, so I don't know, and I ask. It is ok either way.

    I'd have a dedicated blog, WordPress is probably the best then make that a review site for digital products.

    You can then make reviews on many different products and write articles for each one and post to them to top article sites. I like to keep things within a single site and get all my traffic under one domain, that way you can keep things more organised without getting over loaded with many different landing pages on different domains.

      Gary - That is the way I was thinking, but then with this process you lose the ability to capture most of the folks who visit your site don't you. Should I not worry about capturing as many email as I can and just capture those that want to come back and post?

      I wonder if I am thinking too much about all this and wonder if I should just jump in and do something, even if it is wrong. I wonder if trying to figure it all out first just puts me behind.

    The product review method for affiliate marketing does indeed work, in my experience and it can be very lucrative. The trick is getting targeted traffic to your reviews, there are many ways to achieve this including article marketing, blogs, on and off page search engine optimisation, adwords etc etc. There's lots of information available on this subject.
