Linking to the same page (of 365 tips) every day with a different tip. Spammy?

I'm creating a webpage with 365 tips that are related to the subject of the site. I'm wanting to use social media to post a tip per day and also to link to the same page.

How do you think this may look to the SM platforms, the search engines and to people?

  • Will largely depend on how you'll execute your idea. I am mostly talking about what theme (or template) you're going to use. Some themes look spammy / unprofessional. You need to find a theme that will make your site look professional, attractive, clean and search engine friendly. By SE friendly I mean clear meta tags, <h1>, <h2>,<h3> tags and HTML coding. Some sites today are built using online website builders and, under the hood, they look awful. They will never rank high in search engines. They are destined to fail.

I'm thinking more about how it will look to link to the same page every day from social media but with a different tip. I agree it needs to be neatly laid out and have clean HTML. I'm probably going to tag each tip and create a search filter to help users find what they are looking for.

  • Social Media: Depending on the platform, it may not matter much. As long as your followers are interacting with your content, you should be good to go on FB, for example. Reddit is mainly moderated and curated by its own users, so they may not take too kindly to the same content over and over.

Search Engines: They'll see that a good amount of links are coming from social media sites and that, in itself, is not a big deal as most social media sites nofollow external links, but you can dilute the value of the page by having an inordinate amount of links pointing to one page.

People: Largely subjective. I know I'd get tired of clicking on a link each day just to go back to the same page I saw yesterday but anchored to a different section.

I think with Reddit, I may just post in a few subs once with a title like "Mega list of x tips" and forget about it. With the other socials, I'm ok with posting a tip per day but linking to the same page may seem a bit desperate. Do you think it may be better to drop the link altogether from the tips?
  • If you have an autoresponder on your page that will encourage them to sign up and have a link to your new page delivered to them each day.

You could just have the first couple of sentences delivered to them and that will encourage them to visit your page each day.

You could build a large following with a method like that.

Just an idea that I hope helps.
