    Open your sitemap.xml and remove unwanted links like so (remove the entire snippet):

    <url>
    <loc>http:/someurl.com/testimonial.html/</loc>
    <lastmod>2020-06-11</lastmod>
    <changefreq>daily</changefreq>
    <priority>0.7</priority>
    </url>
    PS It may look slightly different in your case, but you get the idea.

    I'm guessing he is on a platform that automatically generates a site map, so the answer in that case is, you can't.

    Depeding on whether you have access to it or not, you could no-index the pages.

      You're probably right. He can then also disallow or noindex them in the robots.txt:

      Disallow: /portfolio.html/
      Disallow: /resume.html/
      Noindex: /portfolio.html/
      Noindex: /resume.html/

        Unfortunately, not all shopping carts give you access to the robots.txt file (notably, Shopify). Fortunately, Shopify has provided a workaround.

        And, of course, I need to ask why doing this is necessary at all. It's not going to help or harm your search rankings, so it seems like a waste of time to me.
