Funniest Unsubscribe Request of The Year

I got a chuckle out of this. This guy just had a fight with my autoresponder. I have it set up with an autoreply message saying that I can't answer each email personally, please contact the help desk, etc.

So this guy subscribed to my newsletter and misspelled his own name. Then when he got the first autoresponder email, he replied with a nasty note saying that if we can't bother to spell his name correctly he would have to unsubscribe.

The autoreply message kicked back the reply to him and then it was on! This guy proceeded to tell my autoresponder what kind of jackass it was for misspelling his name and then mocking him by sending him the same message over and over. He promised to spread the word about how rude my company was. He demanded that we unsubscribe him immediately and if we emailed him again we'd be hearing from his lawyer.

He went back an forth arguing with the autoreply message for like 6 emails. All this because the jerk mispelled his own name. Just when I thought I had seen it all LOL.

Eventually I unsubscribed him manually, but not before having a good laugh. I guess there's always one guy out of a thousand like him.

People are ridiculous. Your story reminds me of my day j-o-b

I work for an insurance company where many of the customers start by getting a quote online then call in with questions or to purchase the policy:

The other day a guy yelled at me because there was a speeding ticket recorded on his online quote...a ticket he must have entered. I tried to explain to him that there would be no reason for me to just add tickets to his record. It would only raise my pricing and he wouldn't buy the policy. He hung up disgusted.

      Maybe it's the same guy?????????

Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!

Thanks for posting this. I got something to share kind of similar to this...but it wasn't harsh.

I have a list in the "build muscle" niche and my signature for my e-mails is always:

    "Live BIG,

    Tommy Bussey"

And I have had multiple people respond to my e-mails simply saying:

    "Living big, Tommy"

hahaha i love it, i guess my subs love me

anyways, thanks ron this made me chuckle too
