Your best free traffic sources? (I share mine)

Hi all :-)

So currently I am mainly using free traffic from Facebook, to my offers. I works really well and I make sales.

I look for people in similar groups in my niche and I make connections that way, just mainly by having normal conversations and explaining about my products (without spamming anyone of course). It works really well. Obviously you have to have a professional looking FB profile. Does anyone else do this?

I have a couple traffic sources - but I would love to hear your tips...?

Thanks!

This is good inspiration. I've just begun doing this, i.e. conversing with related people in groups and see if they wish to connect. Just making sure that I don't look like a spam. Thanks!

This is a great way to get traffic. It's also worth paying attention to instagram. If you make a thematic profile and develop it, you will get another source of traffic where you already have experience, as is the case with Facebook.

In general, I think that it is worth focusing your skills exactly where it turns out, in this case on social networks.

This is an inspiring story. I dont like facebook groups. Buy I work on long term strategy like guest posting. This simple traffic strategy brings you organic traffic over and over. Why I hate facebook groups, you send your stuff and it's gone in 5 minutes. Find a long term traffic strategy

OP, unless your rotating through several accounts, blasting FB groups (even if niche-filtered and niche-targeted) is a sure way to get banned or worse, getting your URLs flagged.

There's a workaround that reduces blocking by over 50% or more: use ACTIONABLE images

While I agree that this approach can work--I have used it and have gotten some good results with it.

I also must say that FB banned my account for no reason--so I would suggest branching out into some other ways of getting traffic.

As far as the comment about SEO--personally I do not like this for the simple reason--if your ranking goes--so goes your income.

    However, this is just me.

    Hope this Helps!

My best free traffic so far is Facebook. I have a page with more than 300k followers and each time I create a new post, traffic to my site always at the highest. Although it is not consistent, it's worth the effort.

As expected, this drives less traffic and the bounce rate got higher.

In my option, he should post only valuable info only when this is necessary. I think posting really interesting stuff would help with the matter. Could you please share your thoughts on the matter? Also is it OK to post on a daily basis? Any other suggestions or good practices would be highly appreciated
Facebook groups are a very good source if you have a specific niche, but if the group is general, you may have a different result. I have specific groups for local movies, NBA, outsourcing, and jokes and all of these are doing just fine.

The good thing about Facebook is you can target your audience... Especially for your language business.. you can only invite people from certain countries who want to learn that specific language you are offering.

My best free traffic source is Pinterest.

I have had free traffic every day for over 6 months from one pin.

I have about 20 pins altogether and get some traffic from about 4, but most of it comes from one pin.

The next best source is Google.

    Hope this helps.

@Ged , so do all those 20 pins points to 1 site or are they going to different sites. In between how much traffic you get in a month just from Pinterest?

        Hi,
most of the pins go to one page on my website.

I have just looked at my stats and I received 228 visitors from Pinterest in the
        last 30 days.

I might use Tailwind later which costs a few dollars per month but at the moment I am still adding the occasional new pin.

        Hope this helps.

Over 80% of my traffic comes from offline sources, such as article syndication in free niche-specific publications, tradeshows, seminars, etc. But having a strong online presence including websites, funnel system, and social media does a have powerful effect for conversion rates.

I agree with Jeffery that it "depends on what your selling and your target market." Some marketing avenues work better for different things.

For me it is SEO all the way! Targeted traffic! It is not "free" but neither are any of the other methods mentioned in this thread. Your time is not free. SEO takes some brain power and time to keep up with the changes and to implement it. That is an expense - but it has always been worth it for me.

You can often implement a number of different traffic getting schemes at the same time but it is difficult to be effective that way if you are not outsourcing. Spread yourself too thin and you are usually not capitalizing on the method that brings the best results.

Thanks OP for opening a thread where members share their best traffic and strategy.
And members often share some precious insights about it.
We find there are various ways and what works for whom depends (as Jeffery pointed out above).
It's heartening to note that even seo works for some. I'd very much like to go that route.

Wow, you've leveraged Facebook the right way by building interactive bonds with other users from all works of life. Building relationship with others is one of the most prominent ways to drive people's attention to whatever you have to offer. People won't see you as someone trying to spam the community, but as someone trying to help. So, it's true you can build Facebook traffic even without using paid ads.

Facebook groups are still a great source of traffic, but the mistake most people make is to spam them with there offers. You need to add value, share your free ebook or blog content now and then and collect there emails to build an email list. Sometimes there are persons asking for help in these group and you can build a relationship with then and get them to buy your product. Most of all act or be like you are an authority in your niche and people will follow you.

Never been a fan of Facebook because of SuckerBurg.

He has NASA level restrictions and analysis on his members but yet he does shady things all the time and admits it. Manipulation experiments for example. Search it.

But anyway recently I joined a group. Watched a Newbie announce commissions.

    Watched her help people.

Watched her start her own group.

Watched her give a webinar training sponsored by the original group with thousands of members.

She made a self liquidating offer meaning she gets paid now before its created.

She had checkout cart problems at end of webinar for her future offer..but netted 100+ people for $100,000.

Next day after the news hit to the rest of the group she got another 300 signups at $997 each.

Still going so by tomorrow she will have HALF A MILLION DOLLARS for a product not created yet because she became A TRUSTED big hit in a Face Book Group.

I watched it from the very first post and still starring in space jaw dropped hahaha.

*Side note...the free webinar she gave was truly kickass helpful. She deserved her rewards.
