What would you like from the old forum in the new?

I know we can't get the subscriptions from the old forum(bummer) but I would like to have an up button. When I finally figured out what the arrow was for(someone had to tell me) I used it constantly. Call me lazy but that is one feature I would want back. I hate scrolling.

    You can subscribe by clicking thread tools (top right)
    In your CP, you can then choose whether to receive email updates.

    I just realised too, I know it's not the same - but if you press CTRL & HOME you jump to the top of the page (the opposite if you press CRTL & END)

      "Buy Me A Beer" was a great option in the old forum. I would be happy if it can be brought to the new one.

      I just find the new wso system funny. Why must we pay without even writing the post first. At least let us write the thread, then move on to paying for the wso. What if we paid the wso and we had no time to do up the post in that time, we can close the browser and continue writing some other time right?

      Correct me if I'm wrong. But I like the overall change to WF.

        I totally missed the whole menu with the thread tools, I guess I have some more exploring to do.
        By the time I find the ctrl and home button I could have scrolled to the top.
        A spell checker would be great also, then I would know if I spelled menu right.

          I'm too used to photoshop and text editors...

          it's just HOME, not CRTL & HOME (sorry)

          If you're using firefox, you can download a dictionary addon that underlines your spelling mistakes and using RIGHT CLICK gives you suggested words.

    I am still trying to get to grips with the new look forum but I miss the sheer simplicity of the old system because I am busy and love to take the odd hour out of the day to check out the forum it is taking me longer to do so but change is good yes. Besides I like the look of this new forum.
