I'm curious about the current trends in website traffic that may have caught the eye of you folks. I'm currently looking for new sources or strategies that might increase my conversion rate. It's still going fine for my money sites, but extra cash never hurts

Content Marketing is on high-rise currently so each form of valuable content you produce can be used to grab the attention of the audiences. Apart from that, User-generated content is proving to be extremely useful in the long-run too.

YouTube maketing is the best route and top trending avenue at this time. Thats good for any niche whatsoever. Traffic via FB ads is setting trends for drop shipping ecom ventures.

There is no such thing as the "BEST" traffic source that is trending now.

While something works really well for others, it may not work for you too.

When it comes to traffic, you have to test all sorts of places and seek the winners and get rid of the losers.

Tracking is a critical part of it.

One thing I've noticed is that Google is providing answers to google search questions right on the google search page - more and more - so there is no need for the person doing to google search to visit the website. I used to run a slang dictionary website and it got TONS of search traffic. People would type in Google "What does SMH mean?" and my site would appear in the results. People would click to visit my site and get their answer and then sometimes click on an ad. But when google started answering the question right in the search page (using data from my website), people stopped visiting my website. The site (60,000 visitors a month) literally died overnight. Moral of the story? Don't invest in an informational site that might be vulnerable to google and Siri.

I had a 50's slang words website and get very little traffic now. Hey, we cannot depend on Google no more.

I am seeing plenty of people attaching TEDs at the end of their articles. I am not sure if it is a trend. Anyone who has seen this?

If we build our business on someone else's Platforms we can wake up next week and find ourselves Out Of Business.

The trend I have noticed is when you pick ONE and try to master it, then it becomes your best source. Not wisecracking or trying to be a smart ass but I like to share when I get a winning strategy I am applying myself.

If someone sees How To, Tutorial content, discounts on..coupons for, reviews on...exactly what they are searching for it will not matter to them where they are clicking to.
