Okay let's face it - until there's a vaccine against coronavirus, the 'new normal' would be remote and virtual events. Everyone will have to transition to attending events remotely. And LinkedIn is one of the many platforms everyone can use for hosting a virtual event. Hence, they have published another guide for facilitating virtual events. The guide is in PDF, but here are some snippets:

These are helpful tips, and conferences are likely to be virtual indefinitely. I am wondering if anyone has experience exhibiting at a virtual event this year:

    - to what extent did the platform replicate the in-person experience of exhibiting?
    - did you have anywhere close to the interactions/leads you would in person?
    - was anything better about exhibiting virtually?

Graduations have already gone virtual. I am wondering how a wedding could be conducted virtually.

One tip I would like to input is:
You should check out how Twitch and YouTube gaming streamers build their setups. They have been giving "remote" content for their entire career (up the tune of millions of viewers/dollars). They have to make sure they don't show sensitive information on screen and make sure they're able to relay any audio to the correct streaming channels, not to mention keeping consistent internet connectivity + speeds.

Just my 2 cents on it.

No doubt the pandemic has brought so many changes in the way we perform our business activities. Many organizations have already started using tools for virtual events because this the safest and useful way to get in touch with teams and people you want to interact with.
