Quick Article Marketing Tip - How To Make Even More Money From Your Efforts

Watch your incoming link stats!

For those who have been article marketing for any length of time, you know that suddenly, out of the blue, for reasons unknown to all of us - one of your articles will suddenly appear atop Google's first page of results for a killer keyword phrase (which happens more than most people think).

All of a sudden you have an article that is bringing in a boat load of targeted traffic to your website. So what can you do?

First, identify the landing pages which are linked to from the article's resource section.

Then - take advantage of that traffic while you can...in any way you can! There's no tellin' when it will disappear from the SERPs forever.

Depending upon your marketing strategy, you could:

- Add an opt-in section for your mailing list at the top of the page
- Decrease the amount of external links on the page and add some to your related websites and or related internal pages.
- Add a poll or survey to find out as much about that trafic as you can for future use in your marketing
- Place a couple of ClickBank Links on the page, or affiliate banners
- Add a site search box to the page
- Optimize your Adsense code placement
- Add Social Bookmarking buttons near the top of the page

So in the event you suddenly find an article sending a ton of traffic to your site, what else could you do?

Let's keep it ethical! LOL

Excellent stuff.. you and Kim Roach have enough good info and techniques, that if used and not simply thought about, it can unlock a lot of IM doors.

    Thanks Vet,

Just make sure that the people you decide to take advice from can quickly and freely provide backup/evidence/proof that what they are saying is definitely, without a doubt, positively true.

Lots of non-credible article marketing BS being thrown around here lately.
