Looking for a traffic source i forgot about

hi

looking for a traffic source but i forgot the name, 4 years ago i used a traffic source where people got paid to watch ads, i could set a minimum of 5 or 15 or 30 seconds etc (not sure if really 5 15 and 30 seconds), the longer i set the minimum time the more it cost me. depending on the setting its a 1 cent "per click" traffic source (or maybe cheaper cant really remember).

can you name me some traffic sources that work like this or similar?

i hope this post is not against the TOS,

thank you very very much!

There are tons of such places - there's no way to know which one, specifically, you are trying to remember.

Do a search for "get paid for reading ads" or "get paid for watching ads" and you'll either find the one you are trying to remember or discover many, many more.

No, I think what he is looking for is the "work from home" crowd that gets 3-4 cents every time they read an ad or watch a video. These people just watch ad after ad in order to make a few extra bucks.

In theory, some of those people may see an ad and act on it. I imagine those who are making so little from home will be particularly interested in ads for other "work from home" opportunities that promise to pay them more.

Could it be Neobux? That's one of them. There was also Clixsense but I believe they stopped selling traffic and focus more on paying for surveys and micro task.

"Google it" would probably be my suggestion, as there are many like that online. Good luck.

You forgot to warn him that as he Googles, he should be wary of scammers that have populated google with ''watch video read ads to get paid''links.

Swagbucks I believe is the biggest player in this field? Others include(d) the (now defunct) Perk, if i recall correctly.

Maybe the better question to ask is: Will this type of traffic convert?

I believe you are referring to PTC, or pay to click
there are many on the net if you search for "PTC" in any search engine.
the traffic is all about making money and you can decide the viewing time based on the credits.

This type of traffic has very poor conversion. Less than one per thousand is my own experience. Also, you use up bandwidth like crazy. Have the splash page be mostly text with a few tiny images.

I bet you are talking about PTC sites where users are paid pennies or is it 10 cents to click on an advert. I have used them for some offers some years back just to test and I kind of had mixed conversions. The thing is that the people clicking on such ads to earn cents don't really have money to spend. They are mostly 14 year olds having fun.

There are these ones that I can remember:

    Clixsense
    Neobux
