Sept 29 is officially National Dunkin' Day and not National Coffee Day, AdWeek reports. The eponymous coffee chain is giving out a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase (except Nitro cold brew and cold brew) at participating Dunkin' stores in the US. This is also only solely available in-store, as it won't be available on delivery platforms.

Drayton Martin, VP of Brand Stewardship at Dunkin' said in a statement:

"We're declaring National Coffee Day as National Dunkin' Day to highlight how much our coffee means to people, and create an opportunity to raise a cup to everyone across the entire country who understands and appreciates how important that daily cup of Dunkin' can be to keep running,"

Which reminds me - I'm grabbing a grande cup of Nitro cold brew coffee on the 29th. What about you? How do you like your coffee?

I am a real coffee lover, morning is not morning if there is no cup of good black coffee. I'm taking my second cup right now)

Coffee is my spirit energy drink. But I also can't say "No" to Dunkin. So I am ready for it as well.

So - co-opting a 'national day' with your brand.. Don't drink coffee but I'm always ready for a donut.

One of the funniest 'trends' I saw in years past were that the same people whining about the planet, and the climate change and the trash in the oceans (not saying those aren't valid issues)....

were the most devoted to kcups - where they were tossing trash away every time they have a cup of coffee.

Never understood that....but I do agree a donut with cream filling or just fried and glazed is great....bran muffins not so much.

This Summer got hooked on the Frozen Chocolate. However staying out of the drive though lately.

I prefer their Hot Chocolates in the Winter over their coffee. They cut the grade quality over time and the coffee is no longer that good IMHO.

Enjoy the Marble Frosted doughnuts they make.

Although I agree with this, I still find myself unable to resist drinking it, haha. Guess that's where the word "addiction" comes in
