Issue with ClickBank Order Form Impressions

I'm promoting a popular ClickBank product called Passive Pages to my email list.

Been getting a lot of clicks. At one point....within 24 hours, I reached over 600 Hops, but ZERO order form impressions.

I know that sales may or may not happen, but statistically speaking....you would think at least ONE person would have looked at the order form, even if they chose not to buy.

The only order form impression is from my own test of the link.

Yesterday, I decided to make a brand new ClickBank account and use that one. My original ClickBank account was opened in 2011.

The same thing is occurring. Absolutely NO order form impressions.

My original account is now has 842 Hops and 0 Order form impressions

The new account has 263 Hops and 0 Order form impressions

This is a product that is selling for others through email marketing, etc. and I know someone that has both order form impressions and even a sale or 2 of this same product, sending to their much smaller list and with much less hops. For instance 44 Hops and 7 order form impressions on the first day. Sales came later.

If I was at least getting order form impressions....even 1 or 2, then I wouldn't worry about it, but something seems off. It's very strange.

This also happened previously when I tried to promote a couple of popular survey offers.

I'm not promoting those anymore and haven't for quite a while, but I still get Hops every day oddly enough....maybe due to the vendors email followups.

I have close to 6,000 Hops on those and also have never had even ONE order form impression. That makes no sense.

This now is only the 2nd time I've tried promoting ClickBank. I stopped due to the issue, but thought I would try again.

I asked ClickBank support and basically just got one of their canned answers....

    thank god I don't promote clickbank products atm
    but still feel kinda sorry for you


    when you really have a targeted list who is interested in such products then there must be something wrong here I guess

    There are some tricky Clickbank vendors, what i usually do is to use a different IP address from the one you usually use to access clickbank and i visit the sales page and click to the order page and check it in the dashboard to see if is reflected in the stats. Also be wary of those Clickank websites that asks for an email first before taking you through a funnel. I have seen where when they add you to there subscriber list they send emails with another cookie drop that steals your commissions. This is not unique to Clickbank alone though.

    The best way to counter this is to build a landing page that captures emails for your own subscriber list, so that even if they do not buy the clickbank product you still have there emails that you can market other products over and over again.

      It seems like most of them have opt-ins on their sales pages these days....then they send emails promoting all types of different products too, not just followups on the product you referred them to, but the vendor probably feels entitled to do this. You're right, you have no control at that point. I promote to my email list to start with though and so they are already on my list. This is why I have largely avoided promoting ClickBank products, over the years....too much uncertainty. I still see many making money on a regular basis, even promoting the vendors that do these things.

    Depending on the niche and the product that is a LOT of hops to have 0 order form impressions.

    As suggested... check with another IP address or just have a friend/family member click so you can check to see if an order form impression gets counted. If it does get counted that means your product and/or the sales page is not as good as you think.

    Just because YOU think the product and sales page are great does not mean your traffic does. Getting a lot of hops means YOU are doing a good job delivering traffic. However, even with targeted warmed up traffic you will not get sales if the product stinks or the price seems too high.

    Don't stay attached to the product. Try another one.
