Are you only going to promote / sell products by that brand?

Is that brand something people actually google?

Think of SEO too.

If it's the only one you're going to promote, the whole site can be branded accordingly.

If it is not, you can have a page for the brand, where you list all their products (or product types), then each product page will have to have the brand name somewhere on it.

If people are searching for the brand, you'll want the brand name to be in the title of the product page: Brand Hammers, if they sell hammers.

Yes it is the only brand we would be selling, and it is a good idea to brand the website, any suggestions?

Edit: Sorry i didn't answer your other question.
No, the brand is that well known, so no googling.

About SEO i will be working on that soon.

Nothing personal, but posts like this mystify me.

From the company's point of view, why hire someone to do a job if they don't have the relevant experience? On the employee's part, why take on a role you have no idea about?

But most of all, why don't both parties just talk to each other?

You can't do your job effectively if you don't know what's expected of you and your employer is wasting time and money by not explaining it.

I'm not that inexperienced, i have acceptable knowledge in marketing and eCommerce however i am not highly experienced, i had worked with companies before in the sales department but spent some time in the marketing department, so i know a thing or two.

The problem is that the company owners are not that tech/eCommerce savvy, they are traditional, they own few stores and work in retail and wholesaling, so it's up to me to do all the heavy work, i will be taking a digital marketing workshop next month, so hopefully I'd be better at this.

To me you can go either way. You can chose to use the company name infront of each product or simply develope each of the product. it will still give you the desired results.

You need to first find out which are the top competitors in your brands niche. Once you find the best competitors do your research on their websites and see how everything is laid out. Create a website for your brand that assimilates all the best features of your competitors websites.
