A new article on Search Engine Journal reports that with the relaunch of Site Explorer, Bing Webmaster Tools is gaining a new experience not offered by Google Search Console.

New features in Bing Site Explorer

Site explorer was a feature that used to exist in the previous version of Bing Webmaster Tools and was removed when the current version was released earlier this year.

While Site Explorer was absent from Webmaster Tools, it was being overhauled with a new interface and new features. In an announcement made by Bing, they stated: "Site Explorer provides a unique SEO view of how Microsoft Bing sees your site,"

The way in which the new Site Explorer presents data is very interesting. You can now navigate the folders and sub-folders of your site's structure, meaning you can access site data at the smallest level or zoom out to get a global view.

Bing States:

"[Site Explorer] reflects most URLs we have seen on the web, including redirects, broken links, or those blocked by robots.txt, organized in a file explorer-like fashion. Thus, giving you the flexibility to navigate each folder and the URLs contained inside them to understand, debug, and modify your site structure as required."
Inside each folder you can access the up to date crawl information, as well as clicks, impressions and backlinks counts.

Types of data displayed for individual pages include date last crawled, date first discovered, HTTP code, or whether the page is HTTPS.

So far, it certainly seems that this new feature has gone down a treat with SEOs. Take a look at this tweet!
