Aweber vs GetResponse?

It's great to be back here, it's been years.

I have a couple of quick questions if you don't mind chiming in...

I have been using Aweber for about 4 years and GetResponse for about 1 year.

I am looking for another one that is just as friendly to affiliate marketing as well.

Thanks in advance,

In the past i have used Aweber and i currently use Getresponse. I have also used icontact and constant contact. both are good as well but a bit more pricey.

It might be worth looking into a self hosted solution. In the long run I thing they might be better and a bit cheaper

If you are looking for cost-effective solution then you can check out campaign monitor or if money is not an issue then go for convertkit.

      Never heard of that one.

      Thanks, will check it out.

Lots of emails of mine are NOT getting through.

Can I ask, "What are your best white listing techniques?"

For Example: Any thoughts on how to take a new buyer lead and get them white listed faster after they buy ==>> optin?

      Thanks in advance.

Hello, I can not say that I have made hundreds of thousands of dollars to say that I have tried multiple auto-responders. From my personal experience I have a still use GetResponse just because it gets the job done and I like the name. It tells people what you out to accomplish, Get Response.

I wish you well on your journey; choose one, build it, grow it. Then check your options, you can always upload your list to another company if you had to.

    Hi,

It depends on the purpose. Getresponse is more open towards affiliate marketers and easy to start for a new marketer. But aweber is better for advanced marketers who know the rules of the game.

So, for advanced marketers, they notices better delivery rates on aweber, as aweber keeps the IP strong. Saw some issues with getresponse in this case. But still for a new marketer Getresponse is better but as the system becomes more complex and advanced, aweber actually performs and delivers better email delivery results.

I've used both Aweber and Getresponse (Mailchimp too but not so much of late) for a couple of years. I think another good alternative is Constant Contact. They used to have a 3-month free trial not too long ago, not sure if that is still a thing...

I am moving from Getresponse to Mailingboss by Builderall. It's friendly to affiliate marketers and anyway I am a Builderall member. My biggest concern was email deliverability but now looks like Mailingboss has improved it's deliverability, so for me there is no reason to have duplicate autoresponder accounts.

Aweber is a great platform, but what I disliked it from the start, and never went past the trial is its price tag. I couldn't because I knew as the subscriber base increased, I'd have to pay even more. Other than that, everything else is great. I haven't used Get Response yet so I can't say anything. Mailchimp was a favorite for a while, but one would later realize that their free account is nothing but a clever bait into something that is very expensive. It gets pricey as you increase your subscriber base. Their addons also tend to pile up the costs. It just isn't what it used to be long time.

I would vouch for Constant Contact, anytime.

    On a budget?
If you are on a budget and want something that gets the job done, then I would advise that you consider mail octopus (Excellent for beginners) and Mailer Lite.

I am on a budget but have no problem paying for a list that performs. I used to have over 45,000+ buyers but my $500 bucks or so a month paying for this list was not worth it as it was not converting.

Now I have over 5,000+ buyers as I cleaned it up over the years and it pays for itself but I don't pay much for it.

I just started using GetResponse and it's working well for me plus it's not that expensive compared to the services I'm getting to others like sendlane which just upgrades your account even if you don't ask for it.
