Professional affiliate VS Amateur affiliate

Here is a great tip if you are an affiliate marketer.......

If you send your traffic straight to an affiliate offer, this means you
are an AMATEUR affiliate. Amateur affiliates rarely get conversions
and sales.

If you want to be a PROFESSIONAL affiliate and get a lot of conversions
and sales, you need to do the opposite of what amateurs do.

Here are 3 things professionals do when it comes to affiliate marketing:

1. They send traffic to their own custom opt in page.

2. Once a prospect opts in, they are sent to an thank you page
created by that marketer that they just opted into.

3. They follow up and give their subscribers VALUE.

Traffic is useless until you do what professional marketers/affiliates
do.

    @Talfighel,
You made an amazing comparison between a professional and an amateur affiliate. Along with the comparison you provided super tips regarding marketing. These are useful even for a beginner.
True, a business will flourish when what is promised is what is delivered. This is a key formula to win the customers' trust in any online marketplace and build long term relationships.

    Regards

Sound tips by friend. I do all these things and then some. Professional marketers do what amateurs will not. I think serving instead of selling, selling, & selling all the time.

You think you are giving value, but you are not.

The difference between most amateur affiliates and professional affiliates, is the pros are better at manipulating and misleading people for their own gains.

      Pretty much spot on.

Saying you are overwhelmed because there's too much information,
is like saying you're fat because there's too much food.
Bad information = overwhelm. Bad food = overweight.

Declan: I respect your opinion and actually don't like the "scamsters" (lets call them) either ... However lumping everyone into one box and saying that all "Pro Affiliates" are just out to scam People and make money isn't a good idea. In fact many ― if not most ― of them are good, decent, honest People.

        Just saying. : )

      Think of the whole process.

Who is it who's going to like the 'value' you create, buy the product/ service you promote?

      Value is a subjective thing.

If you get random visitors, some will not think your value has value.

So, you need to control the process by which they come to your site.

Once you have that taken care of, your visitors will appreciate the value you create (if, indeed, you did create something of value).

      Example:

Say I have a website to attract tourists to the Danube Delta and I'm going after Americans and Canadians.

I create a lot of value, in Romanian and Bulgarian.

Most Americans and Canadians will not appreciate my value as they cannot understand the language.

Extreme example, but it's what happens a lot of the time.

Say you sell exercise equipment. You target everybody. Your exercise equipment is some $3000 machine. The content you create is great. All great info about getting huge pecs.

But the people who visit your site make $2500/month. Half of them are women.

How many sales do you think you'll make?

Now, get men 25-35, making 7,000/month who subscribe to Boddy-bulding Enthusiast.

How many sales do you think you can make?

Affiliate marketing is really great when it comes to earning. All you need is a popular website or a YouTube channel.

Just go to affiliates pages, register with them, sell or do some publicity of their products. Whatever sales will happen through your channel or website will have some commission.

The most important is to select the right niche. I tried with Elearnmarkets and it went really well.

Winning the lottery is a great way to get rich. All you need is to match a handful of numbers.

Winning a gold medal at the Olympics is a great way to boost your self-esteem. All you need is to run faster than everyone else in the world.

Do you know how hard it is for most people to have a popular youtube channel?

How can you put a bracket in one's income per the tactics they deploy?

For me marketing in general is like surgery.

Some are cut for this, other's don't.

I sent them directly to the hypnosis affiliate program
and they let me export their emails. They have a fantastic
conversion ratio and my audience should be itchy-bitchy to
buy - who promotes to cold prospects these days?

The fewer the steps for the buying process, the better.

What if the prospect's alarm goes off and they get distracted?

...when they would have bought already?
