2 Questions Pro/Cons Of Product Creation Launch For Newbie Affiliate Marketer

1) They say that the big money in affiliate marketing is in us creating our own product, doing product creation launchings, then building a team of affiliate marketers with different skill sets to promote your new product ...... what are the pros/cons of going this route fior a newbie affiliate marketer versus starting out to market other peoples affiliate products ?

2( Would you say a good strategy to your 1st big pay day right out of the gate as a newbie in affiliate marketing is to create your own product and than launch it right out the gate as a newbie affiliate marketer if you are willing to go through the work of creating a product and the risk... what are your thoughts on this, is this a fact that you stand a chance to make a bigger payday on your very 1st campaign as a newbie affiliate marketer what do you see as pros/cons on this ?

If you're a newbie at marketing and you're creating a marketing product, you're going to fail.

If you're a newbie at marketing but creating a product in an area where you do have the requisite experience, you may succeed, even big time, depending on who you get to help you market your product.

The easiest thing, if you're a newbie, is to send traffic to someone else's product.

It's hard to send qualify traffic, but it's easier than creating a product, setting up converting funnels, and getting qualified traffic to your own sales page.

DABK .... hummm thanks ... so the key is if you have someone that can help you create a product that is proven to sell and also launch it..... then you have a higher chance of succeeding at a product launch, otherwise, failure is likely to follow ...;>( thanks again

Those people selling courses, on how to launch and create a product to launch is misleading, they sell the sizzle of the steak to get your attention but leave out the dangers of this strategy for people like me who do not understand the all the dangers involving product launches !

Most sell the sizzle and assume that you know the parts they do not cover.

If you create your own product for affiliates to promote. You should know how to market / optimize it and do it extensively. Then use the results to show potential affiliates you have a high converting offer. Otherwise, you will likely just get affiliates that are just starting out and do little to nothing.

I'm what is considered a super affiliate and often get asked to promote a new offer. If the advertiser can't prove the offer is high converting, then I'm very unlikely to try it unless I get paid on CPM / have no risk. The reason being is that I have what I've always termed opportunity costs. During any given day/week I can only promote a certain number of offers. So I'm obviously going to promote those that have proven to produce the greatest ROI ... will provide me with the best opportunity to make the most amount of money.

So if an advertiser can't show me that it is worth testing (worth risking my opportunity cost) then I'm typically going to pass. I have no interest in being their ginny pig and testing their offers for them to see if they will convert well or not.

    Become an affiliate marketer first.

Make sales then you can create your own product and recruit other affiliates to promote for you.
