$1500/month by June, 2010
I will be straightforward and tell everyone on this forum that I know almost nothing. I've been a member for a while, read a few threads here and there, replied to a couple, and that's about it. I am asking for some mentoring and a lot of help. I believe in reciprocation and, of course, would like to return the favor to someone else one day.
A little bit about me..
I am a 20 year old kid living in San Antonio, TX USA. I'm not a firm believer in college education and I consider myself a smart kid. The skills that I possess are: Japanese, English, web design, accounting, talking, gaining ppl's trust, money management, taxes.
I currently work as an Executive's Assistant at a local construction company that is feeling the pain from the downturn of the economy. I honestly don't know if the company will make it through 2009. However, that is not the reason I am turning to internet marketing. I also work as a Japanese tutor; I am originally from Okinawa, Japan and speak both English and Japanese fluently.
I don't believe in getting rich quick, or spending a few hours a week to reach financial success. My belief is that working 40hrs per week is to survive, and anything more than that is to reach success. I am willing to put in 15 hours per week to achieve my goal. If that doesn't sound reasonable, please tell me, I am very hard to offend and I appreciate productive criticism.
My motivation for financial success doesn't come from wanting to drive a Mercedes or wanting to live in a million dollar house. If anybody has ever read The Millionaire Next Door, that's the type of person I want to be. I am frugal and would choose to see my bank account growing over partying like all of my other friends.
I have a few websites in mind:
1. Japanese tutoring - not only for making money online, but also for my tutoring gig.
2. Dating/ How to catch a woman's attention - I play the game pretty well. I don't look good, don't have abs, I'm 5ft 6in tall, but have a good mouth I am in a serious relationship and this won't be under the presumption for nailing a girl in a day. I honestly think that's just wrong, but a little bit of flirting is always fun.
3. Money management/ investments - I enjoy reading about investments and business. If it weren't for business books, I wouldn't remember how to read.
I am quite confident in that I have knowledge in the 3 areas I mentioned above. I am comfortable using Joomla! for website development, and can design pretty decent templates on my own as well. Any and all recommendations for websites are welcome.
The bottomline of what I am asking for is:
How can I cost effectively get traffic flowing to a website? And how can I achieve my goal of making $1500/month?
If any of you can please help me reach my goal, it will be greatly appreciated. And if there is anyway I can help any of you in some way, please let me know! I hope to hear from you guys
Thanks,
Clayton
