What a year. 2020 is almost over, and Christmas is just 42 days away. For brands, this means aligning their strategies to maximise the holiday shopping season despite how disruptive 2020 has been.

With this in mind, Twitter is providing insights to help brands align their strategies with info on emerging consumer trends and habits. Twitter notes:

"Frivolous is out, practical is in. All this time at home has given people a new appreciation for the simple things. Comfy clothes, a classic album, something for the kitchen - that's the hot wish list."

    Their trends tend to be skewed. I wonder how much of it is true automated (unbiased) and how much of it is human.
