Expired Domains app or program?

I've received just today a mail from a famous marketplace regarding an app for expired domain search.
They even claimed the app can find very cheap domains (even 5 usd), with good traffic. Only it seems with NameCheap and Godaddy.

Does anyone has experienced in it? Which app or program do you recommend?

Is it a good source of traffic? One of my customer currently use it for clickbank products, direct selling it, with some sales coming in, but not too much.

I'd like to use it of course for lead generation, redirecting it to my opt in page

    When it comes to using, buying or investing in expired domains, I would stay always from ways to get them cheap. $5 domain sounds like those .xyz extensions which might not really give you an impact. Unless the charges was for using the tool to find domains and then later register them on you own. Real good expired domains are way pricier than that. You can get good domains from domain auctions on Godaddy or some other top domain sellers and registrars. And again it depends on what you want to use the domain for.



    I am not really into the expired domains venture, but a while ago, expieddomains.net was good and some other called Domain Gatherer or something.

    On the topic of Expired Domains. Need an app that can check a list of domains and can clearly identify expired ones. Atomic Mail Verifier which I use will only sift out the dead, no longer existing domains However, it does not identify the domains that are expired - after scanning my domain list it simply marks them as "Good" either based on A) Finding the domain was registered and still active but expired and not yet deleted or B) Finding a Mail Server on the Domain. Any suggestions?
