If you are in desperate need of money with no internet marketing experience then you need to GET A REAL JOB!

Step 1
GET A JOB. Let's be honest "It takes time to make money online" so do yourself a favor and get a job to at least pay your bills and be able to eat while you study and prepare yourself for you online adventure. Also this will take out the stress of being broke, with less stress you will have more SUCCESS.

Step 2
Read the forum for 3-6 weeks EVERYDAY spend 3-4 hours just reading, read, read, read.

Step 3
Decide how you want to make your money online, by this time you should have a few ideas. Stick with only one idea and focus on that, Do Not Spread Yourself Too Thin by trying everything at first.

Step 4
FAIL, yes just get ready to fail, learn, fail, learn, fail, learn, fail, fail, learn, learn, SUCCEED, SUCCEED, fail, SUCCEED, learn, fail, SUCCEED, SUCCEED, SUCCEED

There is no shortcut to success…however shortest possible routes to earn money right away is getting into the mlm industry or probably selling stuff in bulk on Amazon or eBay through dropshipping…

have found it very difficult to join dropshipping suppliers. Do you have any in mind that you use?

I love this post and here are my contributions:

#1 Get a high quality PLR, repackage it (fiverr for cover), modify the words by explaining the tutorial with your own touch, sell it for $5-$12!

#2 Create a blog, rank it, Flip it on Flippa (takes around 3-4 weeks)

Let's say I just started this great blog and now I need traffic so before I go give my great content away for free to some over glorified adsense article directory I think I will try the following...

You can get hosting for a few dollars from Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, and Dedicated Servers - Website Hosting w/ cPanel - HostGator and get a domain name for less than $10 at Namecheap.com - Cheap domain name registration, renewal and transfers - Free SSL Certificates - Web Hosting - Free URL Forwarding, e-mail forwarding and DNS services are included with our cheap domain names registration service

If you have no money at all, then you certainly can start a free blog at http://www.blogspot.com

- Bookmark my new blog:
Digg - The Latest News Headlines, Videos and Images
Clipmarks - What are you finding on the web?
Home | Propeller
Faves: Sites you'll love, from people like you
Mister Wong | Social Bookmarking Tool (twitter function built in)

* Those above will get you indexed in google with no
problem, digg and clipmarks can have you
indexed in 10 minutes.

- Create 3 new articles similar to my blog content and turn them into PDF with links to my blog and upload it to sites such as:
Scribd
Upload & Share PowerPoint presentations and documents
Docstoc ? Documents, Templates, Forms, Ebooks, Papers & Presentations

* fully fill out the profile and since I posted 3
documents there is also an auto poster for twitter
and facebook on Scribd - so I will tweet and post to facebook.

- Locate my Rss Feeds on the bookmarking sites, my blog and the upload sites and post them to Rss Directories:
RSS Submissions

55 Active RSS Directories to Help Promote Your RSS Feeds!

Blog And RSS Feed Submission: Best RSS Directories Where To Submit Your Blog Feed Part 1

TopRank Best List of RSS Blog Directories to Submit Your Blog and Feed - Online Marketing Blog

* many resources on that site above that can help.

This would be a good start to get your content indexed before you even submit to any directory and notice since you are just starting out, none of this cost any money, its free advertising.

James
Hey James,
Most of what you posted goes over my head, but I'll research the heck out of it :-)
I have a website myself, and I know I sucked at getting it advertised, much less monetized, so your post really helps.
My question is, these are great advertising campaigns for a website, like I have already, for example, but what's the best step to monetize?

Sounds easy when you just say it, but "build a nice responsive email list" is not like flipping a light switch. it takes time, effort and work. not something somebody who is desperate has time to do.

Maybe re-read the topic of the thread before posting.

This plan definitely isn't for emergency cash. With some marketing experience and skills then this plan could be up and running in 2-3 weeks (shorter if you really dedicate some hours to it) and it could be producing profit within less than a month.

And it can produce a lot of profit, and it can be scaled up and turned into a real business with growing monthly profits.

If you need to raise a significant amount of money in 2-6 months, then this is an ideal plan.

----------------------------------------------------------
Process 1:
Pick a Market

I know what you're thinking... "BOOOOORING".

I know, I know. Every step-by-step guide seems to start with picking a market. But it's VERY important.

I'm gonna make things a lot easier for you though. Just choose one of the markets below...

Health and Beauty
Fitness
Dating
Finance
Real Estate
Home Based Business
Self Improvement

All of those have been proven to be profitable. Competetive? Yes... but still profitable.

The main thing you need to identify when choosing your market is... "Is money already being spent on products and services in this market?"

If yes, then you likely have a winner.

If you still need help with picking a market then do some more research on Google.

Process 2:
Lead Generation Product Creation

Now it's time to create a free report, audio or video that we give away in exchange for a name and email address.

To choose a topic on which you want to write your report about, consider the major problems your market has.

If you've chosen the health and fitness market then a large proportion want to lose weight.

If it's the dating market then a large proportion want to learn how to find, hook up with and keep their ideal partner.

Create a quality product that people would be happy to pay money for.

Process 3:
Squeeze Page Creation

Create a squeeze page with one primary focus... to get people to enter their name and email address and to download your free report.

That's all for this step. Again, for more help Google it or search this forum.

Process 4:
Membership Site Creation

Once a visitor has opted in to our list, we want to immediately present them with an offer for our $15-$30 membership site. At this price range it's a fairly easy sell without having to have a strong existing relationship with our prospects.

Plus, it's really easy to create a membership site like this and provide value. At $20, it would be sufficient to create 4 premium articles about 1500-2000 words per month. Convert them into PDFs and deliver them to members. Add some interactivity to improve retention such as a question form and then compile all questions into a PDF and answer them at the end of each month. Add additional value by providing videos, audios and reports from other marketers - or create them yourself.

Create your salesletter for your membership using all the traditional sales page tactics.

Process 5:
Creating Your High Value Offer

Now, this is where the real money is. Selling physical products at $200 plus is where most of our profit will come from.

Plus, creating high value products isn't as hard as you think... if you're comfortable talking or being in front of a camera. I'm not, but there are plenty of workarounds to this.

When creating your high value offer, structure it like a step by step crash course. For example, how to do _________ in x number of days. And then the product takes on the form of a video product detailing exactly what you have to do on each day to achieve the desired outcome. Each video should last about one hour and that will be one DVD.

A typical structure for a high value physical product is to have 6 DVDs and then 2 Bonus DVDs.

Here's an example of a product that you could create in the weight loss market and sell for $200 plus...

Weight Loss Market:

How To Lose 15lbs Every 30 Days
DVD 1: Why Being Overweight Is Killing You
DVD 2: How To Get The Motivation To Eliminate Your Fat
DVD3: Week 1: Your Daily Exercises And Diet Plan
DVD4: Week 2: Your Daily Exercises And Diet Plan
DVD5: Week 3: Your Daily Exercises And Diet Plan
DVD6: Week 4: Your Daily Exercises And Diet Plan
Bonus DVD 1: How To Make Sure Your Fat Stays Off... For Good
Bonus DVD 2: Interview With A Weight Loss Expert – Dr. Joe Bloggs

Here are some tips for creating your high value offer:

1) Transcribe your DVDs and audios to add extra value to your offering. Some people like to learn by listening or watching, but others like to learn through reading.

2) Include some digital products with your high value offer that are delivered instantly to your customers. Customers want instant gratification so providing some instantly delivered products with your physical course may sway some undecided potential customers.

Process 6:
Linking It All Together

Each step at the moment on it's own isn't worth much, but when each one is linked together to form a functional, automatic system, then it can create a huge income.

Here's how the system should work. (I've taken this section from a report I'm currently working on...)

Step 1:
You drive incredible amounts of traffic to your squeeze page (we'll talk about this in a minute) and a percentage of visitors opt-in to become subscribers

Step 2.1:
Those who subscribe are entered into a “prospects” follow up sequence designed to pull sales in for your membership, your high value offers and some affiliate offers. (The follow up sequence will be described in more detail in just a minute.)

Step 2.2:
Again, those who entered their name and email address on your squeeze page are redirected to your salespage for your $15-30 membership.

Step 3:
Some of your new subscribers will also become members of your membership and will be added to your “members” follow up sequence and removed from your “prospects” follow up sequence.

Step 4:
Those who join your membership will then be redirected to your high value offer salespage. A small proportion will invest in your high value course and will be automatically added to your “exclusive” follow up sequence and removed from your “members” follow up sequence.

That’s the overview of the opt-in process, but that’s not where the bulk of your money is made.

Most of your profit will come from developing rock solid relationships with your subscribers. You need to get them to know, like and trust you. That’s when they’ll buy your $297+ physical products – and remember, that’s where the profits are.

Process 7:
Pumping Leads Into Your Business

The main objective now is to get as many leads into our business as possible. The more leads join the top of our business, the more leads come out of the bottom when they purchase our memberships and high value offers.

There are loads and loads of ways of getting leads in, but we're gonna focus on just one...

Affiliates and JV traffic.

You need to set your process up so that affiliates can drive traffic to your squeeze page and then earn money on the leads they've referred that join your membership and purchase your high value offers.

I use Rapid Action Profits, but I believe you can use 1ShoppingCart or Infusionsoft.

Then it's just a case of finding JVs and affiliates and optimizing your sales process and generating a deeper and wider sales funnel.
---------------------------------------------------------
Have you written a book or arranged a course on this yet?

This contribution is too important to be left only here. Many courses we pay for online are not as rich as your post.

If you're desperate, you really need to get out of that 'desperate' mindset ASAP before you begin anything.

Is it easy? No, of course not, but being desperate and trying to make money online you'll just fall prey to the endless chain of scams out there. You need to treat this like a serious business not as a 'thing to make some quick cash'.

All the best mate

I have found from being in the industry for 6 years now that over 80% of people will not follow through when the first challenge arrives.

I have learned to do much better starting off with a price and not a freebie seeker.

Those who find themselves desperate to make money online needs to get a life.

It means you are not doing what you are suppose to do. Looking for a shortcut. Making money online is so freaking easy...

Working to achieve higher results...

P.S. It's my personal opinion that EVERYONE who receives payment via Paypal should have a Paypal Business Debit Card. It takes days to transfer money from your Paypal account to your bank account where you can access it. When you have the Debit Card, every sale you make is IMMEDIATELY accessible, as long as it's not an echeck (I don't accept those at all anyways.) Having the Debit Card can allow you to have funds immediately available upon making a sale, and when you're desperate, that's priceless.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. That is the old saying and you should not try anything desperate when trying to step in front of online traffic. The penalties your sites will incur alone are not worth it.

Kill that desperation ...

Desperate people always fail because they lack patience and discipline ...

You are not going to make millions overnight ... It's not going to happen ...

Through consistent action and hard work, you shall one day reach all your goals ...

Meanwhile, just KILL that desperation ...

When you are desperate, you show your weakness ... your neediness ... you do things you were not supposed to do ...

The KEY to KILLING that desperation is to think you are a THE GREAT CATCH ... or you are a SUCCESSFUL MARKETER/WRITER, or whatever you want to be ... As you shall think, you shall attract ...

When you think you are the GOOD stuff, then all of a sudden, you weed out all those deperate signs that you have been emitting ... and focus on this moment and play with the cards that you are dealt with ... you will make better decisions with your time and what you want to do ... you set priorities and goals and go after it, regularly ...

Do you think Tiger Woods or Micheal Jordon became legend over night? No, they live, sleep, and eat Golf and Basketball. You must be willing to do that too, if you want to to at the top ...

So, start thinking today that you are the good stuff ... and work towards your goals calmly, knowing that one day all your efforts is going to count ...

Getting a job is way to go, and yes, any job that can come fast as you not only need to pay the bills but need money to put systems in place and afford some advertising budget.

Gone are the days that you would fluke it and make wards of cash, people have become desensitised especially on social media networks where it has become so hard to get a single lead no matter how much elbow grease you may have!

Too many wannabes' who are only trying their luck to push their programmes into your face that will waste your time to the point of doubting yourself and the industry!

There is still room for every single one of us to make it! Just get good and and watch and follow those that are making it, you are no different than them, but be sure of one thing, these guys put in the work.

Remember nobody says it was easy, but its not impossible.

I use to think you should chose the safe route and "get a job".

Until I kept realizing that you can lose them on the drop of a dime.

Better to go into this with no intention on working another Job. A job will only hold you back.

- It's a good point. For some people, "burning your bridges" is the best option, but other people like to work from a safety net, and this gives them a more relaxed attitude.

I think sites like Fiverr can produce a little bit of income fairly easily. Also, advertising CPA offers on social sites is a way to advertise for free. You can then scale up as the income grows,

cheers,

Jon.

THANK YOU!

You could also call a J-O-B a T-R-A-P. You get stuck and hard to get out.

One of the reasons I loved 'Rich Dad Poor Dad" was the thought of 'Trading dollars for hours" is not the path for long term riches. Being the Boss is.

But I totally understand when people have obligations there is no time for risks of entrepreneurship from their point of view.

But that is the time you have to reach inside and really let your inner entrepreneur go to work for you.

LOOK AROUND.

OBSERVE.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE?

Are you near a tourist destination? Create a tourist website and get local businesses to advertise.

Know a expert at something? Create a video of them doing what they are experts at that can be a product.

Introduce Mr Peanut butter to Ms Jelly. meaning two business owners that compliment each other. Joint Broker a deal with them.

I got that tip from Jay Abrams and Mike Long years ago on creating a win win deal for 2 entities. For example..

You know a Doctor who sends out Holiday cards to all his patients. And you know a local jeweler. You broker a deal where the jeweler would offer all the doctor's patients a special discount that only they are invited to and the 3 of you split the proceeds of that special deal.

This can be done in thousands of ways depending on the two companies you broker a deal with.

So never put yourself in a position where you are a slave to the want ads and the economy...put on your entrepreneur super hero outfit and create your own destiny.

No need to be desperate....create a product for desperate people instead to help them get back on their feet. .

I agree. Unless you have a winning gig that is truly automated, it's just too much time for too little money. But they only take 20% from me, not 55%.

let's see.

Seller gets paid 3.70 $ per each gig
Buyer pays 5.50 $ per each gig
The difference - the fiver fees are therefore 1.80 $

1.80 $ fees, you get paid 3.70 $ as seller,
yes it's not 55%, but it's about 48.65 % fees. Outrageous to say the least

Wow, I didn't realize they were charging $5.50 for a $5.00 gig. But I've been getting $4.00 and not $3.70.

Yes, that's why they're in free fall lately. Less and less people are using fiver

There's an old saying that reads, "Where Focus Goes, Energy Flows."

Remember to focus on one niche at on time and one traffic method and great results will follow!

Many marketers do not know this but there tons of sites which will pay you handsomely for a high quality article or blog post.

The prices range from $50 to $100 to$200...and higher.

You can write the article yourself or you can outsource it.

Another quick method to generate income fast is by selling an expensive item on eBay.

I've posted an item in the morning and had it sold in less than 5 hours.

Yep there is some truth to this. A friend of mine continually went to doctors to get help with some issues that dealt with his Mind and things like OCD. They could only help so much but it was not until he went on Youtube and found real life people who actually had his affliction and he could relate to ..well ,that is when he saw the most improvement in his situation

When I was young, I learned to, "Follow the old masters."

It helped me avoid ever becoming desperate.

There are many highly successful mentors and instructors here on the Warrior Forum. Investigate their background and reviews of their services. Then invest your time following their advice.

They've already made mistakes that you can now avoid.

The big question, if you are in desperate circumstances you are advised to seek paid employment, there are no magic hacks online to turn your computer into an ATM, there are plenty of people willing to sell you a way to dream about that, provide the illusion to distract you from your immediate life. Some people have 'jagged it' and started a business from zero and made some money, but that is a rare and fabulous event.

The way to gain success is to develop skills, gain insight into business building, build assets, locate a product for a low price and sell it for a higher price, create a product, enable others to build things, teach people how to do things, entertain people.
The first thing you need to do is derive an income, it makes no difference how this is done, find a job anywhere doing anything and save a little money.

With your meager savings you can then invest in tools & resources to build your online business you do not need very much money to get started, a simple hosting account, an autoresponder service. Invest in your education, build your skills up bit by bit. YouTube has a hidden depth, there are petabytes of training materials look beyond the superficial layers and an entire library is there. Udemy has lots of free courses. The internet is completely stocked full with the entire lexicon of human knowledge, you can discover whatever you want, you learn whatever you wish but you must be disciplined and discerning-the will to learn is the most valuable trait to have.

You can become whatever you want if you can visualize it and work towards it, it takes time and effort but everything is at your fingertips, there is no obstacle to learning but your own sense of despair and poverty of spirit. We live in amazing times but many are blinkered and held back by their mental attitude, their own imposition of limitation is the prison of their mind.

Journalism, the profession is undergoing a massive change since the WWW has arrived. I help people to build their personal profile and create a multi-media platform with WordPress, Podcasting, Writing and Video.

My suggestion is to get on the phone - or go out in person and hustle, hustle, hustle. Almost every business needs some sort of online-related work done. Find out what they need, and find someone on Fiverr or another source to do the work for you (while you go out and find more customers).
Basically, become a middleman - that's the fastest way in my opinion, to make real money fast.
hope this helps

A way out if you are absolutely desperate:

Step1. Sign up to promote a popular affiliate product from a fast paying affiliate platform (JVZoo, WSO etc)

Step 2. Promote the product by using free Social Media traffic, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. Create a special fan page for the product on Facebook. Use video & free blogging to create value content that links back to your affiliate link.

Step 3. Scale up with other products.
