Thanks for the suggestions and the insight. For newbies, the hype sometimes can make it seem like this is an overnight kind of thing and it is a real business and real businesses do not succeed overnight. They grow and continue growing until they are what they are today. They will be different tomorrow because they are still growing.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!!

Well this is what worked for me in about a month and I started making money and seeing results:

1- Find a popular product that have a brand name, when you check the brand name in google keyword tool it should have more than 1000 searches per month.

2- Do a keyword research, you should look for keywords related to the product's name and is getting a good amount of traffic. The amount of traffic that you may accept should depend on the power of the keyword, for example "product's name review" is a very good one even if it is getting about 500 searches per month this is ok

3- go to google insight and make a search for the keywords you have chosen and make sure that the keyword is still getting traffic and expected to get traffic in the future.

4 buy exact match domain a .com or .org or .net domain some other domain rank well too like the .co this will make you rank easier in google

5- install wordpress on your website and optimize it for search engines and make some changes in the theme to make it look simple and easy on the eye

6- write a good review about the product and link to the product

7- build backlinks to your website first slow then when your domain get older you can attack it with more links in short time if you want to

8- once you start getting traffic make some changes to your website and see if you will get more results after few times of testing fix the design and structure that gave you the best results.

9- add new content to your website to keep it updated at least once a week

10- analyze your competition which rank above your site and see what they are doing, are they updating their websites more than you? are they getting more backlinks (in number or quality)

I think this should put you in the right path of having a very powerful internet business.

I am offering free training for newbies as I am looking for some newbies to test my system, I will give you step by step instructions till you start making money. I will tell you which product you should promote, how to make your website convert well, how to build high quality backlinks and in return when you start making money you will send me a nice success story that I can share on my website. What I can think of is :

Offer a unique service at premium price
OR offer service in bulk.

Why? Because you get the money first.

Idea #1 :
Example, business-in-a-box service at $997 for 3 people only.
(design + ebook creation + follow up email + website + squeeze page + salesletter)

Idea #2 :
SEO premium service monthly charge for 5 people only.
(commenting + link submission + article submission + rss submission + bookmarking + etc)
Where you provide consistent manual service every day for a full month
so that Google will see it a nature development.
Maybe $297 for 5 serious people.

Idea #3 :
Provide a service of Amazon review sites in bulk. Such as 10 sites complete for $197.

Idea #4 :
Provide a service of salesletter writing in bulk.
Example : 10 salesletter for $997 in 4 weeks.

NOTE : Just make all the services in CONTROL and do NOT OVER PROMISE
out of your capabilities. And just make sure you have the knowledge and skills.

Whenever I need quick cash, in about a week or less, I sell big stuff that I don't want to mail on Craigslist, and small mailable stuff on Ebay.

We all have stuff lying around we can sell!

Oh, and the ads do not need to be fancy. Keep it short, simple, and include a picture.

It seems that many different ways to earn money has already been mentioned so I won't add any more because I'll probably just end up repeating the same stuff that's been said already.
However, I would advise the person who's in a desperate situation to take action almost immediately. I think it's better to take action on a plan that's so-so rather than sitting around and spending a lot of time creating that one perfect plan.

I just want to thank the 63 people who have all said to sell services on Fiverr.com

Ok, sorry for the sarcasm. Yes, it is a legitimate idea; but once or twice said is sufficient.

Now for something fresh.

If you have a car payment financed through a dealership, consider refinancing the loan with a credit union. Duh, obvious right. Well, many times, myself included, we forget about renegotiating a monthly fixed cost. A car note is different from a house. It can be flipped/refinanced a lot quicker. Credit unions generally like to pick these up because it is instant collateral. So your credit score is not as big of a deal.

Just call a credit union and ask if they'll refinance, i.e. buy your car note. Many times, they have a person/department who handles these things. Even if you're not a member, many credit unions are aggressively seeking new customers and are willing to bend the membership rules a bit.

In closing, my point is that you can probably cut immediate monthly costs, plus the long-term savings, just by making a few phone calls to credit unions.

Blessings,

Jeff

P.S. And sincere thanks to Paul for starting this thread.

If it is a desperate situation, get your bucket and washing up liquid and knock on peoples doors to wash cars or windows or something. Internet stuff normally takes at least a week or 2 to really get going as even with a fast turnaround like CPA you still have to get accepted to the programs.

If you have any skills search fro jobs people want on elance or something and put in some bids, but at the lower end as you actually need the job rather than can wait for a higher payout by someone

After reading this thread from beginning to end, WOW! I am a noob, and this is all pretty overwhelming, but I am eager to get started. Not "desperate" yet, but I have decided that I would like at least a portion of my income to come from online pursuits. This seems to be the forum to learn how to do it. Thank you all for posting such great, thought-provoking ideas.

This thread is brilliant... Great help to those in a tight situation... This should be more than enough... But the greatest you can do to yourself if you're in a desperate position is to stay calm and focused... Nothing beats the power of your mind and you get more of it if you are calm and focused... First see that your situation is an opportunity that will make you stronger... Be thankful for the opportunity and move on...

$1,300 in one Week with Craigslist.

Not what your thinking... way easier!

My family was in this financial situation once and I will tell you exactly what I we did...

We took a long hard look at our possessions... our stuff. You know the stuff tucked deep in the closets. The stuff that hadn't seen sunlight for years in the basement. We also went through the kitchen to find some really good sellers. Small appliances sell well. Coffee makers, blenders, stainless steel cookware, electric toaster. The stuff that is hard to part with, but you know you can replace within a few months after getting back on your feet.

Same situation in the garage. Power tools sell well. hand held saw, jig saw, electric sander, ladders, etc.

We needed money fast! So we posted on Craiglist that we were having a garage sale Fri - Sun. We made 2 signs and put them out on the our 2 main intersections Thursday afternoon, so drive-byers could anticipate our garage sale coming up.

Was it hard giving up our possessions? Yes, but every item we "gave up" were items that would be easily replaced piece by piece for $50 and under.

Friday afternoon thru Saturday was booming, but Sunday was dead for some reason. However, we made close to $1,000 for that weekend!

We then moved on to phase two of our plans. Whatever didn't sell at the garage sale, we posted on Craiglist as individual items and made several hundreds more. We banked $1,300+ within one week. Not too shabby if you ask me!

Craiglist is powerful and it's free to post items, unlike eBay who wants their small cut- along with PayPal wanting their small cut from each transaction. Craigslist is free and the people pay cash on the spot.

(Bonus: Let your friends and family know you are trying to get back on your feet. Save yourself humiliation of asking for money, just ask if they have unused stuff they would be willing to donate to your family to sell at your garage sale/ Craigslist. People, including family are uncomfortable about lending cash, but they don't mind giving up their unwanted items to help out. Try it, it works!)

The garage sale and posting our items on Craigslist literally saved us from losing our home.

Upfront Cost: Zero
Time frame: Garage Sale (this weekend), Posting on CL (now)
Banked over $1,300+ within one week.

Cheers!

I have stirred up money by simply doing an inventory of my 'stuff' and determining what might fetch a few bucks, that I could part with. I sold a lot of this stuff on eBay. While this didn't make bank or anything, it did generate me over $300 for stuff I didn't need.

It is tuff, I have my story too. 3 kids, mortgage, no work, thinking about 'going north' as many around here are doing (Oil and gas). The above method worked before, but I now have thinned my stuff out pretty good, and don't want to part with any more of my treasures Now I am looking for further sources to feed my family, many great ideas described in this thread, it is confusing to know what direction to go.....what will work for one, might not for another. I agree that everyone needs to find their own niche for sure, which is hard to do when your desperate.

My Heart goes out to those many other people that are struggling, I believe perseverance is also a pretty key ingredient! My hope is that with the experience of sever financial hardship, one will better appreciate when that issue is resolved.

Focus and keep going, ask advise from people. Keep on searching for the answers because somewhere out there you can come up with an idea on how to overcome the situation. Just always think positive.

The other day I helped a neighbor start his cranky lawnmower. Took ten minutes. I noticed a pile of old well casing, stand pipe and irrigation pipe piled in the grass behind his biggest shed. Been there for years. (His subdivision used to be an orange grove.) I asked him about it and he said he wished he could get rid of it. I knew I could make that happen. Not too proud to work with my hands I went home hooked up my small 4 x 8 trailer, loaded my torch and was back there in minutes. Cut up the pipe into manageable pieces and headed out. On the way to the scrap yard I hit two business parks and found more. (ASK, don't take. Some will say no, others yes.) Upshot was almost 1,000 pounds of scrap = $117. Went home, bought 15 domain names = $115.05. 12 to keep for sites and potentially 3 to sell. I was back at the house by 10 in the morning so I really didn't have much time tied up in this. That evening, using a system I read about in the WAR ROOM (with free ebook) I composed an email, gathered a list and sent out 88 emails (while watching a Netflix movie on the other computer.) Bed about midnight. Two days later got a call on one domain name. Sold the domain for $175 plus $5.54 Paypal fee. (Yes, I charge the buyer for the fee and have never had a complaint. I told you I was cheap.) I use a free Paypal calculator by Ryan Olbe that I got here in the forum. I love that thing. Keep it on my desktop. So now I have 14 "free" domains and $175 cash. Doesn't always work that slick but it works often enough to make it worthwhile.

Thomas
Hey Thomas!
You are a very smart man! Cheap, but smartly so!
Great advise here. Freelancing is your best 'fast-cash' bet.

OK... Here is what you do... you go on ebay US and ebay Ca and you do a little research to see what things are selling for less here than there and visa versa. It needs to be a fairly higher priced product like a camera or tv or something and they need to have buy it now available and it needs to show that they have a few of them available.

Just sell the same product on the higher priced ebay and as soon as you get that money buy it from the lower priced ebay and tell the seller to ship it to the person who bought it from you!

You can make like $50 in a day easy that way!

Thats all good and well, but there is no direction on helping people make money. They can have the biggest and best blog in the world with the most traffic but if they are not making money it dont mean squat. One of my blogs gets up to 8K visitors per month with literally no money apart from a few cents from adsense and infolinks.

It's amazing how long this thread has been going on.

There is a lot of gold nuggets in this thread. Not on this particular page. But scroll back a few months and you can find some killer ideas that work. Guaranteed.

I say guaranteed because I have put them in action and made lots of money with them.

Just sayin

Do you have any skills?

Brainstorm and come up with a list of skills you have. Go to places like Fiverr and Elance and place advertisements for jobs you can do for people online. Likewise, look for jobs you can do on Elance.

Sell items you no longer need on Ebay and Craigslist. Try the paid survey thing.

Hey Folks,

Any one need desperate and in need of quick money, the safest and quickest method is freelancing... Just browse through the jobs provided on fiverr, odesk, craigslist and all the other awesome web sites that helps you sell your services.

If you are suffering from information overload as to what area to pick your service on, choose one which you either are conformatble or can relatively pick up in 10 - 15 hours and use it to provide service, you can then judge after a few weeks if you are getting enough sales to keep you going, if fo write down the steps you are taking for providing the service , sytemize it and try getting quicker and better , which can then be a good material for a info product / WSO ... so you do both $$ coming in and in the future can become a product creator..

I am just starting out and i am working on the same starting this new year, for now my focus is flipping mini amazon sites and i want to understand word press , themes etc in the process . Then start listing on flippa and other places while learning and hopefully getting in some cash. this certainly is a good candidate for a WSO too as you can show proof and record of monies made for say 4-6 weeks for some one starting out..

Because the US Government is a bunch of morons, this doesn't work for those that live here, but if you live just about anywhere else....

Go play poker online. If you've got $200-$300, you can easily grind it out online and make a few hundred bucks in a week. You might have to play 10 hours per day, or you might have to play for a few hours a day. Just depends how well you play and the short-term luck you have.

I would recommend going to a casino to play poker, but you need a healthy bankroll to pull that off.

Of course, if you suck at poker, don't try this!

And, yeah, I realize this is quite an unusual approach towards making fast money, but if you can play poker and have a couple hundred to play with, online poker would work for you. Plus, everyone else has suggested pretty much everything else I could think of!

I will teach you my advanced Texas Hold Em Strategy that will turn you into a WINNING poker player!

It's really not all that unusual coming from someone promoting a 'how to play poker' product in their sig...

I just read all 11 pages today - phew!

I think most people who responded are just trying to help in their own way. That's the thing though - you have to take what is most realistic for you and leave the rest for later, the keyword being your own way. The last thing you need is to waste time that you could be making money trying to figure out how to do something.

Did you notice how many great ideas were generated just by asking a question? What if you asked the same question to people offline also? Do you think that maybe somebody you know might have a great lead for you too? What if you asked yourself? (Not being facetious here)

How about sitting down with a notepad & a pencil and brainstorming as a tool? Maybe you already have the answer you seek! Take like a half hour and write down every realistic possibility you can think of to make money - then go for a walk or take a bath - something to relax. Ideas will dry up if you are all stressed. BREATHE. Right now, in this very moment you are ok. Believe that there is an answer that is perfect for you.

Once you relax or do some sort of mundane chore after your brainstorming session you would be surprised at how many answers will start popping into your mind. So between the two you should end up with a list.

This process does not have to take very long - maybe an hour? Then ACT on your best idea ASAP. I think we have more knowledge stored in our own brains than we give ourselves credit for.

Oh...and good luck

Well, except you can't learn how to play poker in a short period of time. So my advice would do no good for someone trying to learn how to play. Which is why I mentioned you couldn't make money playing poker unless you already know how to play. Just sayin'....

Oh, and by the way....

What "product" am I promoting? I'll give you a million bucks if you can point me to any link on my poker site where you could buy something. I play poker for a living and wish to share my strategies with people for pure enjoyment. Just looking to find ways to actually promote the blog so I'm not writing to myself. One of the best ways of making a stable form of income is freelance. Though you might have to do tons of work to get close to the figure that you want, it is certainly a predictable way of making some cash on the side. As it turns out, writing is not as hard as some people make it to be. With a little nudge in the right direction, you will be good to go.

While I will admit that I did not visit the site, the fact that you offered poker, especially online poker, as a strategy in a thread titled "what to do if you are desperate" and posted that suggestion over a sig that reads "I will teach you my advanced Texas Hold Em Strategy that will turn you into a WINNING poker player!" looks more than a little hinky.

If that observation ruffled your feathers, I apologize.

Best thing to do if you're desperate is to cut back on all NON essential things in your life like soda, expensive food, paying for cabs, buying crap you don't need.

Then, I would work my butt off. Do over time if you have. Where ever, whenever. It sucks, but it's just for now until you have enough to make your come back.

Save as much money as you can from regular jobs. And once you have a tiny bit of capital, jump on Fiverr and start offering services to people. You'd be surprised how quickly you can make money on there.

If you dont' know how to set it up, there are tons of threads and free ebooks on the topic. You could probably even head to youtube.com and just search for "how to make money on fiverr"

Lastly, never give up!

Rock on!

I', not sure if this has been said already (a lot of posts to read) but if you have any skills in the IM you can offer them to warriors here. You probably won't make millions off it but I'm sure you'll make some cash.

fiverr.com: also a place to offer small stuff to others for the sum of $5. Can be anything from licking stamps to designing a logotype.. whatever you want.

HOTTEST & Fastest way right now is flipping iphones on Ebay & buying off Craigslist. I seize opportunity, and even though I look for them in spare time I love it.

Today I posted 2 iphone 4S on Ebay
Priced it right to maximize profit/turnaround
Worked around Ebay holding funds for 21 days (no seller rating)
Invoiced client-Paypal (Cleared $220) in less than 4 hrs auction time

So now I am paid

Get Craigslist App on phone with keywords & cities on alert. Surf posts & respond politely looking to make communication....and now this is where you WORK IT

Find out the specs, condition etc, then ONLY ONCE you make an offer of CASH & indicate your ready. Youll be surprised the people that will drop 50-75 right then just to get it sold.

You buy it with the money you earned from the sale. Key is turning auctions-lining up potential sources of phones, and using cash to make good buys at right price. EASY $200 a day for several weeks still to go

I sold 3,800 last week in 2 nights-worked about 1 1/2 hours total, made approx $900 after Ebay was fed, but the extra fees dont matter when your turning the money faster. IT works, i promise you

Absolutely. Positivity is key.

Some people have a daily plan or timetable, some just do things everyday when and how they see fit.

Either way is fine, but most importantly, instead of reading dozens of ebooks, take action.

One way to make extra cash is to do the nasty or boring jobs for people that they don't want to do themselves.

Examples would be clearing snow off driveways (follow the snowplow and offer to dig out the big bank it leaves across each driveway entrance!), raking leaves, clearing brush, washing outsides of houses (or boats, RVs), powerwashing driveways, cleaning out gutters, clearing away junk (cleaning out basements can be great if you can sell some of the stuff you haul away), small demolition jobs...

Probably the best place to find these jobs is middle to high income subdivisions where people have more money than time and are willing to pay to have the unpleasant jobs done.

Re: What to do if you're desperate
Share on:

There is a homeless man named Spencer in Austin, TX who makes more money every day than some people with jobs. He puts his girlfriend up in a decent hotel every night, and has enough to do the same for himself most nights as well.

I will never forget the first time I met him. He is the classic wino-looking hobo, with terrible clothing, scraggly hair and grey Santa beard. It is hot in Texas Summer, and the AC in the car was broken, which I'm sure helped the fight I was having with my wife.

"Damnit" I said, pulling up next to him and getting stuck at the red light. I never give money to charity as it is very much against my personal beliefs. Then, I read his sign, which said:

"Wife has PMS AND a handgun... I need to bring home the bacon!" My wife and I both burst out laughing, and he saved our "date night" with that one... I gave him $5 for making us laugh (and getting my wife to hold my hand) and he immedidately tried to upsell me!

"Hey, can I borrow your car, man? I'll bring it right back, I promise!"

Then, ..."You laugh, but some people fall for it. Really, oh yes they do! That's how I got here!"

Since then I have seen his many other signs:

"Ninjas killed my family, I need money for karate lessons!"
"Why lie? I just want a beer..."

And, at the heighth of the recession in 2009, when foreclosures were a constant threat to people around the country and even the world:

"Losing your $150,000 home? Don't worry!
There is room under my $80,000,000 bridge!"

He also gave a couple of signs to his girlfriend, who only has one leg:

"Please help, I'm standing on my last leg!"
"Anything helps... I've already got one foot in the grave!"

(If any Austin Warriors are reading this, I'm sure you've seen "Spencer". How much money have you given him? Actually now that I think about it, maybe I should drive down there and hire him to write some stuff for me!)

My point in all of this toothless murmuring?

Ultimately, if you're desperate, find something that everyone else is doing really poorly, and change it into something that entertains people and makes them smile or laugh... Common homeless signs in Austin read, "Even 50 cents is a blessing" and "Homeless Vet, Hungry" playing to the same old "guilt" and "shame" emotions that every other homeless person does. Those people struggle to make $20 per day.

Most of the population is full of procrastinators (Is that part of how you got yourself into a desperate situation to begin with?) and so trying to convince them to give you money with negative emotions is not enough. Sell them something that entertains them, however, and make them feel good, and they will spend impulsively.

Hope this helps.

The bartender says: "We don't serve faster-than-light particles here."

...A tachyon enters a bar.

Re: What to do if you're desperate
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

The last time posted to this thread I got into a bit of a debate with a couple of other warriors. Funny how time changes things.

I was saying that getting a JOB is the best solutions and arrogantly I still think brought up some good reasons why. I still believe that.

But Re-thinking and reflecting on this thread, I guess its all about being compassionate while still servicing the needs of the forum, which at the end of the day is all about Internet Marketing.

So here is an update to my original recommendations *NOTE* I have done all three of these things and have made money with all of these:

1- eBay

Over the years I have personally along with my partner used eBay as a very fast, efficient, easy to use source for making FAST MONEY. I believe above all else on the internet, I dont care what anyone says, that eBay is the best solution and answer to this thread.

You need absolutely nothing except for an eBay account, paypal account and something to sell. Thats it. No Internet Marketing knowledge, copy writing, seo, website, backlinks, skills in the way of design or coding... Its a faultless, easy as 123 system.

Just recently we went through our home as we do every year or two and made about $300 from old gifts, baby toys, old jewelry and a dvd player that we either where not using or didnt even know we had them because they where packed away.

I can not stress how easy eBay is!!!

2- fiverr. Recently I started gigs on fiverr and my first gigs that I ever started made me about $28 in a week and all I did was place a link on one of my friends water pump sites. I didnt even own the freeking site!

People sell anything and everything on fiverr. Its hilarious but it works and its easy.

3- Go offline. If you are here on this forum, even if you are a total newbie, chances are you probably know more about online marketing that 50% of small local business owners and you will definetely have more of a passion for it or you wouldnt be here.

Dont lie, just tell them you are a new local web developer that can offer (whatever you want to offer them, seo, design, mobile design etc) for a very cheap price because you are new. You find out what they want go to sites like this one or fiverr, odesk, elance and hire someone to do the work for you at a reasonable cost, add your margin and bonza your done.

One year ago, I had a local lawn mower dude mow my lawn, I saw his domain on his shirt, went inside, looked his site up and told him in as nice a way as possible that his site sucked and he was not coming up for any buying keywords in google. He literally told me to work on his SEO that very day without me even selling the service to him, he knew I had a fulltime job and he just assumed I could and would help him fix his rank because I was knowledgable. He paid me a hundred bucks, I did some of the work myself and outsourced the rest to dudes on fiverr.

I still stick to my guns and think that getting a JOB is the better solution. I argued my points about this in other posts. My main reason is the the whole point of the thread about people being quote "Desperate".

If you are desperate and even if you do make 50, 100, 200 or even 500 bucks. So what. By the time you pay your bills, put food on the table or whatever, the money is gone and your back to square one.

I know the economy is bad in the US but, you can still find jobs. Ive not once been unemployed in my entire life and guess what? I dont have and professional skills, I never went to uni (college), I dont have any trade certificates and I dont have mum or dad paying my way. I work.

Now when I see those unemployment lines on the TV, I cant help but feel sorry for those people, but at the same time I also cant help but think how wrong they are going about it. You dont get a job by sitting in an unemployment line where you are competing with 100 other dudes for low paying labour jobs. You ask each and everyone of your friends and family members about getting a job where they work, you use linkedIN and facebook, you apply online directly to the companies or via job sites (not employment agencies) or you do what an old buddy of mine used to do and walk through shopping centres and ask people if they are looking to hire. I once even made myself the goal of applying to 10 companies directly per day until I got a job, within 3 days I was hired for a massive company!

Hello,

As hard as it is to believe but positive attitude helps. It is concentrating on the solution, not the problem. Meditation, EFT or anything that turns negative thoughts around is useful. Finding a great role model is useful. Or simply asking for help. And then take action.

All the best,
Nancy

Online jobs is one quick way of making money if no other option is available. Data entry job or online jobs like article writing, blogging, writing research paper are ways to make money online with limited resources. All you need is writing skill and computer with internet access.

In my opinion, The easiest way to get started as a newbie with making money is simple. Go to fiverr.com or any other low cost article writing service and collect you desired number of article and have them posted to the highest ranked article directories. You can also incorporate Niche Article Marketing for High Search Ranking - Premier Service. The key to all of this is to include in all of your articles only CPA offers at Affiliate Marketing - Find the Best Affiliate Programs and CPA Offers from OfferVault. If you follow these steps you should start making bank almost immediately. I hope this helps

Study your strengths or what service you can offer to others and what clients will like, it may be content writing or just simple video testimonials, it doesnt matter what it is, but it should be based on popular demand. research a little on the topic and the services already offered in that niche, that will get you started.

Great info shared in this thread and I'm sure there are A LOT of Warriors getting value from these ideas.

I just want to reiterate that you do have to start somewhere, but once things start to build momentum and money starts coming in....you're unstoppable.

As a starting point to build a real business, simply go around town to restaurants, bars, hair saloons, tailors, tattoo shops....any niche really.

Tell them you'd like to take a few pictures, create a video, and rank them on the first page of Google....if they like the results there will be a nominal fee each month. If you lack the skill of video creation, outsource to Fiverr for a measly $5.

There is a wealth of information on the forums about ranking YouTube videos and for small businesses it's easier than you think. Get 10 clients under your belt, show value, and continue to offer IM services....DONE!

I hope this helps someone out!

If you have internet marketing skills you can provide a valuable service to local business owners helping them use the internet in various ways to make real sales and profits.

It's standard to charge 50% upfront before you even start a project with a business and the fee range is usually in the $500 to $5,000+ area.

So by offering a service that is genuinely valuable to businesses and using your skills you could conceivably have a new client today and $250 to $2,500 in your hand.

This is not news to many (although it amazes me that many people don't simply do it) but here is something you may not have heard...

There is a way you can talk to the business owners you know and any you come into contact with immediately without knowing anything about internet marketing or websites.

Just tell them you know someone who has some fantastic experience helping businesses like his make more sales and profits using the internet.

You don't understand how it works but it has something to do with google, online videos, facebook, twitter, search engines, email and all that other stuff you don't understand.

Tell them your friend is really busy but because your friends you might be able to twist his arm and get him a free consultation (he normally charges a few hundred dollars for those).

If the business owner is eager then get his contact details and pass them on to a warrior forum member here who knows what they're doing and is willing to do a joint venture with you to get clients for them.

You take a percentage of the business you create from that client (in this case 10% to 25%).

That's a simple way to get started.

You can talk to business owners you know, business owners your friends know, go to business networking meetings, call on the phone etc etc.

There's almost no pressure on you to know anything or to try to sell anything.

Every question has pretty much the same answer "I honestly don't understand this computer stuff but my friend is a genius at it etc."

Kindest regards,

The first thing to address, which is the most difficult is to assess your lifestyle...

Lifestyle Change
I know we do not like to hear it, especially when surrounded with folks that are making money and are able to purchase what they desire but until you get back on your feet think, "where can I cut back on my expenses..."

I am not saying this because I don't live it...for years I have learned to cut back on my expenses, evaluate my spending, and now I have money for what I really want like, learning how to be an IM online!

Debt Blaster
Next, pay off your debts! They are your ball and chain that keep you a slave to your job and that horrify you if you are going to loose your job. You may ask but how? Change your lifestyle.

Here I have been blessed to be debt free for years...Sure I don't get everything I want because I make a conscious choice not to be in debt for it, but when I do purchase what I want, I can really enjoy it because I am not a slave to paying it off.

Growing Pains
If you apply yourself in these two areas, you will see pain, I will not cover it up or flower it...because it is painful to lower ones lifestyle, to have money, and pay off debts.

Man, it hurts not to be impulsive but once you overcome this hump, your eyes will open to opportunities like so many you see around you in the Warrior Forum.

Then you can have debt free spending where I suggest you invest it right away to get a return. Yes, you can start even while you are in this lifestyle change and paying off debts but beware of cutting corners, the winds of change and challenge will bring your house down.

No, this is not a fast method but very effective because if you do not get these two principles, you can still make loads of money and be back in the same boat.

Motivation Quotes
I love quotes that motivate, especially when we are speaking of success...

"Most successful men have not achieved their distinction by having some new talent or opportunity presented to them. They have developed the opportunity that was at hand."
-- Bruce Barton

"The successful always has a number of projects planned, to which he looks forward. Anyone of them could change the course of his life overnight."
-Mark Caine

My personal favorite, "...because teaching is learning in action." -Ann Moore
