Sudden drop of SE traffic

I just want to share with you guys that from 07.2020 there is huge drop on the google impressions and clicks to our website.
Do you experience the same ? It's all because of covid crisis or just affected us ? There seems to be slight improvement in the impressions but the efforts we spend are exhausting.
Anyone to share similar picture?


Edit: Ok guys this is the perfect example why you should never block the google bot from fully crawling your webpage! Yes.. cloudflare blocked by default the bot! And that's 3 months without crawling!
It is very disappointing. Does anyone knows for what time the rankings will recover? Or will they recover at all after this?

    That is why it is never a good business decision to just rely on ONE traffic source.

    Anything ONE in business is bad.

    One income source....One traffic sources.....etc.

    Maybe it is time to spend your efforts on other ways of getting traffic to your business.

    Same with the US stockmarket, (sea of red) which doesn't surprize me.

    The US is taking the left fork in the road, and most with open eyes can sense it going down a hill or off a cliff?

      This is no good. Some on TV tell that China has recovered from the crisis and event went at + balance at the end of 2020 . I just can't believe this.

    There was a January CORE algo update along with one major update last year

    Keep in mind that just because you're getting less search traffic doesn't mean it's permanent

    Do an SEO audit using any of the high powered SEO software tools out there and re-optimize your site

    As long as you're not buying backlinks or using PBNs and your content is actually HELPFUL, you should be able to weather this

    Start with an audit then list down what you need to do for both ON PAGE and OFF PAGE

    I used various on camera techniques that gave one of my channels a serious boost.

    It was better content pinning on the entertainment factor. Just my 2 cents.

    If you keep focusing on Google alone you'll see like that results. Diversify and focus on multiple sources of traffic. Social media, Paid traffic and email list.

    If you are driving traffic to your website and capturing leads, then you are going to send traffic your website, books and services later. again build your email list this is the best thing you have to do for your business.

    I've seen people with similar issues as well.
    The most common and logical reason has to be the December 2020 Core update from Google.
    This has led to many people facing decrease in website traffic.

    Honestly, these charts are pretty useless without the actual numbers to the right or left.

    I could make a similar chart where the actual number of clicks drops from like 10 to 2. It would look devastating, but it really isn't.

    A bunch of squiggly lines does not mean a whole lot.

    If you did experience a significant drop in traffic, are you tracking your rankings? Sometimes a big dip is the result of just one keyword slipping from a #1 ranking to #2 or #3.

      Yes,I'm tracking them. They all went down really badly. It should be the December update behind this. Unless other people experience the same with no explanation.
