Lifehost - anyone here using it?

Lifehost launched last week, I guess many of you saw it as I received many affiliate promotions.

It looked like one of those 'too good to be true' offers but thought I would take a chance. I have in the past got in early of some great offers which have worked out well for me

That was seven days ago and since then I still don't have any access to Lifehost and have not received replies to a couple of support emails I sent chasing up access details.

I appreciate they are giving a lot for so little so would expect at this time support might be slower than usual but are there more of you having the same issues or please tell me you are having good experiences.

Thanks
#lifehost

As a general rule, threads asking about specific products are not approved because WF is not a help desk for everything online.

However, this question by a long time member is a great example of what new marketers fall for online - not just with hosting but with all sort of 'wonderful' products..

It looked like one of those 'too good to be true' offers but...
    .

Your common sense was telling you 'stay away'....you inserted the word 'but' - and bought it.

they are giving a lot for so little
I read the sales page (not easy to find as the title word is a parked domain and the FB page i fount is empty). A google search brings up dozens of 'real info' and 'the truth about' and 'an accurate review' of the product on affiliate sites and offers of JV....how is it so many affiliates are building sites to push a product being sold 'early bird' for $22 or $14 (depending on which site you read)?

It's a conglomerate of the same sales tactics used by marketers for years....I have "only 12 minutes left" The text mentions working 'for yourself ' and not having to deal with 'a boss' - and it mentions the pandemic for some reason.

Unlimited hosting, unlimited bandwidth - for life......for $14..

After looking through a site that is probably 30 pages of hype.....the price is $14???? For that, might as well go along for the ride and see what happens.

I feel like I'm missing something after a quick look but what I see is a lot of hype. Truth is - when it sounds too good to be true, it almost always is just that. Not faulting the OP - we've all bought things online that 'seem too good to be true'....but to me the 'copy' on this one is way over the top.

But - for $14 - and a 30 day guarantee - might as well hang in for a couple more weeks and check it out....if there are no recurring payments in the fine print. Edit: had the sales page still up on my computer and when I went back the 'only 12 minutes left' 20 minutes ago has not become 33 minutes left...who would have thunk it?

Thanks for your input Kay. I hope I haven't breach any forum rules.

Yes too good to be true does start the alarm bells!

I would never trust my core business websites to hosting companies who were not considered anything less than industry leaders with a very long track record. I was considering this for a side project. I did look a little deeper before I bought it.

It seemed to me to be a feasible offer as it was using the open source Virtualmin panel - and at only $14 I was taking a calculated risk so can put it down to experience.

Thought it worth a mention on here as lots of people were promoting this as JV partners through the W+ (some of them including the one I purchased through are quite respectable too).

The last sentence explains a lot. Warrior Forum no longer has any association with W+ - that ended years ago when Freelancer purchased this forum.

I agree some of the claims seem feasible - and perhaps it is. That level of hype is a big turnoff for me but that's a personal standard. 'Lifetime" offers often make me ask 'whose lifetime - mine, yours or till the money runs out'?

I also agree giving it a shot at $14 is not a bad idea if you have the time to spend testing it out.

I did give it a go, at $14 not a high price for testing.

It is now 9 days since purchasing the product, and it still does not work. Yes they are using Webmin/Virtualmin for the hosting platform.

After first logging in, I added a couple of domains, and transferred the Wordpress websites. These sites worked for a couple of days, then the administrators seemed to change setting on the server and suddenly no sites were working.

Help is via an email address. I have sent numerous emails to the help desk regarding problems. It appears that to solve one problem, they create more problems, so the sites still do not work.

Their support never email back, I have had to log in to see if anything has changed. Then find a new problem. Their System Administrator(s) do not seem to have any idea on what they are doing.

I certainly would not recommend this product to anyone. I am lucky I have had some spare time to waste trying to get it working properly, but now I am at the stage of asking for a refund.

I hope this has helped anyone looking at this product.

I bought in on Lifehost and so far all has been working fine. Setup my WP sites without any issues. Email through my domain names are not but requested a fix. Lifehost has responded to all my questions and helped with getting things setup. Only waiting for the email issue.
We will see what happens....hope it works out.

I fell for the entire package...original offer + all OTO's. I didn't get anything from them at all so I contacted the reputable affiliate that offered the "deal." He reached them and they said they would help get me going but since then, I've heard nothing! I'm going to request my money back...wish me luck!

Was off to a good start with them, but now sent 4 emails to support over a period of a week; no replies and the simple issue is not resolved. No communication. No idea what is going on.
