Stop Blindly Trusting Every Piece Of Advice You Get Here...
If I do it this way...Will it work?
If I change this thing...Will it work?
Should I write an e-book on this niche...etc etc.
What this basically means is you are asking for someone's approval or permission to do it. Which means...If you are told no...You assume it might not work out...Which means you are automatically losing out on something which might have worked well for you.
Do not...And let me say it again...DO NOT...Take every piece of advice you get on this forum as a solid fact. Most of it is pure opinion based on personal experience of the member posting.
And not meaning to offend anyone here...But not everyone on this forum is an expert and that's the reason why it's important to test everything out.
Testing is the only thing which will show you whether something works or not. Therefore instead of asking everyone for their opinion here...It's better to test it out and check out the results and see what works for you.
Another reason why I am saying you shouldn't put too much weightage into the advice you get here is because what works for one person might not work for you and what works for you might not work for that person.
For example- You might ask something like- How many articles should I submit to see my first sale?
You might be told that you need to submit just 2 articles because it worked for that specific person.
But here is the twist...When you actually submit 2 articles and realize you don't have a sale you might get discouraged thinking it doesn't work and give up altogether.
You see there are several factors which go into it...The reason why it might have worked for that person is because he/she is in another niche, Maybe he/she is a better writer, Maybe his/her article hit the front page on google and he/she got tons of traffic from it. I mean the reasons can be numerous.
But you see...This is the reason why it's important for you...To try out different methods and keep on trying till the time you find something solid.
Stop trusting everything you hear here...Ever seen guys like Eben pagan, Frank kern etc coming to forums and asking- Hey guys! I made a new site...Do you think it will work?
No!
They put a lot of effort into testing everything out with different variations themselves instead of asking for random opinion.
The main problem why people don't succeed here is simply because-
1-They don't bother to test everything out.
2-If they do test...And it fails...They don't bother to test something else.
3-And they don't show enough patience to test it long enough to see if it works or not ie- They want overnight results and give up too early.
So guys it's really simple here...You can't learn to swim just by taking advice from other swimmers or watching someone else swim. You have to get into the water yourself and see what it's like.
